💙A GRADE COACHING ANNOUNCEMENT 2027💙

There’s a little ‘changing of the guard’ for 2027…

After taking our A1s from the bottom of the ladder to back-to-back Grand Finals and then bringing home 2026 A1 Premiership, Sean Bradley is stepping away from the A1 Head Coach role for the 2027 season🏆

This season , Jacob Serle joined Sean as Assistant Coach, in what we would like to say was a , pretty successful first year together, and now he’s ready to take the reins.

In 2027, Jacob Serle will become our A1 Head Coach, with Sean graciously stepping to the side into the Assistant Coach role (no doubt still offering Jacob plenty of opinions and guidance from approximately 30cm away. 😂)

However , Sean isn’t quite done at McLaren Flat Netball Club yet, and he will now take on our A2 Coaching role in 2027, focusing on developing and strengthening our senior squad and continuing to help build that pathway for players into the A1 grade.

Also stepping down from her A1 Assistant Coach role is Wendy Baker. A huge thank you to Wendy for all the time and support she has given our A1 team over the past two years💙💛

Congratulations Jacob & Sean!
We are looking forward to seeing what 2027 brings!

And that’s officially a wrap on Senior Presentations 2026! 🥂💙💛

I hope everyone had a great night, and that everyone’s feeling reasonably human again after a very big couple of weeks 😂

A massive thank you to Serafino Wines for hosting us, what an absolutely beautiful venue and an awesome opportunity to keep our presentations close by and support a local business 🍷

Congratulations to all of our award winners and recipients , so well deserved after another huge season.
And of course, another massive congratulations to our 2026 Premiership teams 🏆
What a bloody awesome year for McLaren Flat!

Thank you to everyone who helped set up, pack down, pick up, organise, carry things, find things, move things and ultimately put up with my ‘slightly’ pedantic ways 😂

Finally, congratulations to the new owners of our two Premiership balls, with some very competitive bidding raising $205 between them 😂 Apparently we will auction just about anything if you give us a microphone and enough wine.

And I guess that’s a wrap for me too… for now anyway 💙💛
I’m taking a step back from the role of events and fundraising after a very full on year for me!
I’ve truly loved being part of it all .. and I guarantee I’ve probably driven a few of you .. very ‘slightly’ insane along the way 😂 but it’s all for the love of the club ⭐️

I’m sure whoever grabs the reins on these jobs next will make it their own and do some bloody good things with them!

For now, I’m looking forward to taking a bit of a back seat, enjoying the club from the sidelines again… and trying very hard not to interfere.
No promises on that last bit though. 😉 😂💙
