ππ€π SCHOOL HOLIDAY FRIENDLY REMINDER β LETβS KEEP OUR TRACK SAFE FOR EVERYONE! ππ€π
With the school holidays here, we know the BMX track will be getting plenty of extra use, and we LOVE seeing people out enjoying it! π
However, a friendly but very important reminder:
π« MOTORISED VEHICLES OF ANY KIND ARE ABSOLUTELY NOT PERMITTED ON THE BMX TRACK. π«
This includes, but is not limited to:
β‘ Surrons / electric motorbikes
ποΈ Motorbikes / dirt bikes
π Motorised RC cars
π΄ Electric scooters
β‘ Any other motorised bikes, scooters or vehicles
Even manual scooters do damage!!
The track is built and maintained BY VOLUNTEERS for BMX riding, and motorised vehicles do serious damage the track and, more importantly, pose a serious safety risk to all riders using it.
π This is NOT a new rule.
Information signs outlining these rules are located around the clubhouse and grounds and have been in place for many years. Please take the time to read and follow the signage when using the facility.
β οΈ Fines apply to those breaking the rules. Anyone found using a motorised vehicle on the BMX track will be reported to Police and Council.
And for those arriving by car, please also be aware that vehicle number plates are clearly visible from the BMX track and can be seen and noted from ANY of the surrounding car parks. π
We genuinely want everyone to enjoy the track over the school holidays, but we also need to protect the facility and, above everything else, KEEP OUR RIDERS SAFE. ππ€
Please respect the track.
Please respect the signage.
Please respect the other people using it.
π Enjoy the holidays and ride safe, Hornets!
