Another amazing weekend at Dangar Park. Here's the ladder after round 2!

Our mixed league continues this Sunday following our 12pm kids training session, with the Gaels taking on the Harps at 1pm followed by Celts v Shamrocks at 2pm.

We had a great first week of kids training on Sunday- a fantastic turn out! We're glad so many of you could bring your kids along to give Gaelic a go.

This is the ladder after round 1 of the Hunter Mixed League- with the Celts sitting at the top... for now 👀

Round 2 games will take place this Sunday 13th Sep after our first round of kids training sessions.

If you haven't already registered your kids on the foireann app, please do so before Sunday :-)

Kids training yesterday looked like this(which is great & all!), but its back for real this weekend!!

We'll be starting kids training at 12, and there will be a bbq & soft drinks available for purchase to mark the occasion so that's lunch sorted! We'd love you to stick around after & check out the action in the Hunter Mixed League games that will follow.

And tell the kids not to worry, we'll let them back to the playground after training- they clearly have important business to discuss.

What a weekend!

The Hunter Derby Sweep Day was a huge success- thank you once again to our amazing race sponsors; to everyone who bought a horse; to everyone who purchased a sweep ticket; to our prize sponsors; and to everyone who came along for the craic & community!
Shout out to Andrea who was the mastermind of the day & to Olivia & Ellen for manning the 'bookies' table, as well as to Smugglers & Scholars for bringing the tunes.

Then we had the first round of our Hunter Mixed League today which was a huge milestone for the club & a testament to what we have built so far. Game one saw the Gaels take on the Shamrocks- a nailbiter that ultimately ended in a draw. In game two the Celts were victorious over the Harps in a match that was another exciting watch- can't wait to see what some of these players who are new to the game can do over the coming weeks 🙌

Onward & upwards from here! See you next Sunday for our kids training at 12pm & matches to follow at 1 & 2pm😊

Get up and dust yourselves off- today is the day!!
After a cracker of a Season Launch yesterday, the main event starts today with the very first games in our new mixed league.

2pm Harps V Celts
