It is with regret that we announce the cancellation of this year’s Pacific Cup.

We understand how disappointing this news will be for the players, coaches, officials, families, volunteers and supporters who were looking forward to being part of the event.

The Pacific Cup is a special event on the softball calendar, and we sincerely thank everyone who has supported the tournament and contributed to its planning and delivery.

We appreciate your understanding and support, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back to the diamond for future events.

💚🖤 NDSA U14 girls and boys had a blast at the U14 SNSW state Championships🥎
We would like to thank all the volunteer team officials for their time and expertise so these great bunch of kids could enjoy the experience of participating in a State Championship.
Thank you to our pick up players who stepped up and became part of the teams.
Looking forward to seeing more of these players as they progress in their softball careers over the next few years.

🥎 A HUGE THANK YOU FROM NDSA! 💚🖤

What a fantastic week of softball! A massive shoutout and thank you to everyone who contributed to making this week’s NSW PSSA tournament such a success.

From our canteen and grounds helpers, to everyone working tirelessly behind the scenes, and those who gave up their time at the working bee to prepare the park — your efforts certainly didn’t go unnoticed. 👏

The feedback from the tournament organisers was nothing but glowing. They were incredibly appreciative of the work put in by our NDSA community and recognised that everyone went above and beyond their expectations to make the tournament a great experience. 💚

We’d also like to recognise our NDSA representatives involved throughout the week:

Best of luck to our NDSA U14 Girls and U14 Boys teams heading to Jacqui Osmond (Southern Districts) this weekend for the U14 State Championships! 🙌

Both teams will take to the diamond across 19–20 September, representing Newcastle.

A huge shoutout to all of our players, coaches and officials making the trip. Play hard, support each other, enjoy the experience and most importantly — have fun! 💪🥎

A huge congratulations to Newcastle’s Grace and Arwen on their selection in the 2027 NSW Open Women’s Firestars Team!🔥

Grace and Arwen will represent NSW at the National Championships, competing for the Gilley’s Shield from 28 December 2026 – 2 January 2027 at Redlands Softball Association, QLD.

An incredible achievement that is so well deserved and fantastic to see two of our Newcastle athletes selected at this level! 💚🖤
