DERBY DAY - Last time Green got the chocolates but you can bet the red hot White side will be out for revenge. This will be awesome!

Third grade has all top 4 teams in action this weekend with significant implications for positions on the ladder as we sprint to the finals. Let's go Boomers!

Minor League is on Saturday & Sunday this weekend. Great opportunity to see the ladder leading 5th Grade side on Saturday and back up to see the second placed 6th Grade side on Sunday.

The future is wearing Green & White!

While half our sides were washed out there was one stand out performance in our 6th Grade side that got the win over Woodberry. 💚⚾️

This is partially thanks to a big day from Luke Hughes. He started the game and pitched 3.1 innings and picking up 6 strikeouts.

Luke was also a force with the bat, picking up 2s in Hits, Runs, RBIs from 3 At Bats. He also swiped 2 bases to add to his tally as he goes for a back to back Emerald Spikes award.

Hopefully the weather eases up and we see some more exciting performances. Please dont be afraid to send in your game day photos/videos so we can share them on socials.

With a pretty hefty downpour in Mayfield we've had to cancel training for this evening.
Dont forget about Batting Practice at the Ranch on a Thursday evening if you still need your training fix.

Friday arvo/dinner plans sorted!
Join us at Mayfield West Bowling Club from 5:30pm for the meat raffle hosted by our wonderful club.
There will be plenty of meat trays, chooks, eggs, good vibes, and great company.

The Senior Boomerangs sides last weekend came away with some mixed results.

Unfortunately weather won in the Saturday time slots. But we picked up a couple good wins by 6th Grade and 2nd Grade White on Sunday.

Also there were no junior games this week due to school holidays.
