The Men’s Ressies where away at St.Georges for a must win game.
The boys started off very shaky with some turnovers that the dragons capitalised adding more pressure on the boys , eventually doh we settled with some goals from Timmy Lawson and Allan to bring it back level
But by the 2nd Qtr and few words from Kingy the boys started playing direct footy and Tessy stole the show with some unbelievable goals to have the boys coasting and finishing with 7goals until the 4th Qtr again with some costly turnovers St.George brought it back to 3points with a very tense finish but some how we managed to get across the line.

WD1

A much-needed win for the girls after a few tough games. And what a win it was! More than half the team kicked at least one goal, but a huge shout out to Edel who kicked 5 goals! Welcome back to a few returning from injury and thank you to the girls who doubled up for both ressies and snrs

MD2

We fielded a very strong side this week and got off to an excellent start, taking control of the game early. North Shore fought their way back into the contest and closed the margin to within a goal. Our response was outstanding, lifting the pressure and intensity after halftime. We controlled the second half, kicked away when it mattered, and finished with a convincing win. That’s now four wins in a row, with plenty of momentum heading into the back half of the season

WD2

Women’s Ressies went up against North Shore Bombers at home this week. Having struggled with numbers all season, the Ressies were keen to get on the field. WD2 came out swinging, taking our shots on goals and locking down in the backs. Some incredible passages of play all across the fields! Unfortunately not having a bench took its toll in the second half but the Ressies gave a performance to be proud of. Aiming to keep building on this momentum each week!

The Women’s Ressies faced a strong Manly team on the north shore this week. WD2 had a slow first quarter but were able to stop the Wolves from scoring in the second and most of the third. Unfortunately, we couldn’t find the goals ourselves. Nevertheless a great showing of strength and skill across the ground. A massive thank you to those who came out to support, particularly Allan who umpired before his own match and a speedy recovery to Charlotte! ❤️🤍🖤

MD2

Travelled out as a team this week to get redemption against East Coast. After a couple solid wins we wanted to continue this momentum and it was on from the start. Lots of feeling in this game but we tried to focus on the footy and we were able to get a decent lead and hold on to it for the rest of the game to win by 21 points

Men’s Ressies travelled out to manly with a lot of new faces making there debut.
It was a tough game from the start and the boys struggled to get the game plan going between the manly pressure and the field conditions but by half time it was only a goal in it. Unfortunately 2half wasn’t much better as we played into manlys hands and they took full advantage of it by killing the game off early in the 4th Q
