As Lake Mountain is largely a seasonal-based resort over winter, we try our hardest to ensure we keep our food wastage to a bare minimum, however it can be difficult to precisely forecast visitation and even harder to expect and predict dependable snow fall😅.
In that said, it's been such a pleasure to be working again with Robyn Hill from through their Murrindindi Community Food Share Program, in helping support our wider community over such challenging times. Lake Mountain helped with this amazing program by donating 500kg of frozen food that would have mostly gone off over the warmer months ahead. Robyn was able to redistribute these goods to those that needed them most through her community food share program.
By understanding our community’s needs and challenges and in joining forces, we can build greater strength through the combined efforts of all local organizations and businesses, regardless of size.
