It’s a midweek battle at Villa Park!
Our Villa Ladies are back in action this Wednesday night, taking on KSS Jets on their home turf.
Kick-off is at 7:15pm at Villa Park.
With the regular season heading toward the business end, every game matters. Come out, get behind the girls and help them finish the season strongly.

MEAT TRAY SPINS AT THE WHITE LION HOTEL
Every Wednesday from approximately 4pm and Friday from approximately 5pm, Doon Villa Football Club will be holding our Meat Tray Spins at the White Lion Hotel.
The White Lion Hotel proudly provides the meat tray every Wednesday, while C & K Transport and Earthmoving generously provide meat trays to the value of $100 every Friday.
Best of all, all proceeds and takings come straight back to Doon Villa Football Club, helping support our players, teams and club.
We are extremely proud to link our club with the White Lion Hotel and sincerely thank them, along with C & K Transport and Earthworks, for their ongoing support of the Doon Villa Magpies.

Match Day First and Second Division
A massive game awaits our First Division boys Tuesday night as they take on ladder leaders Bayside Strikers at Villa Park.
The ladder is incredibly tight, with five teams fighting for four finals spots. A win today will guarantee our boys one of those coveted spots.
We’re calling on the entire Villa family to get down to Villa Park and get behind the boys in this crucial game. Your support from the sideline can make all the difference.

DOON VILLA JUNIOR BREAK UP SEPTEMBER 13
It’s time to celebrate another great season at Doon Villa!
Join us at Villa Park on Sunday, September 13 from 1pm to 4pm for our Junior Break Up.
We’ve got plenty happening for the kids, including:
Jumping castles
Wet slide
Player vs Parents match
Our U5 to U11 players will receive a sausage sizzle and a drink.
All coaches and U12 players and up will receive a burger and a drink.
The bar will be open, so come along, enjoy the afternoon and celebrate the season with the Villa family.
We look forward to seeing everyone there!

TWO BIG GAMES TO GO!
It was do or die for our FQPL Villa Ladies. A loss would have seen the League Championship slip away, but these girls were up for the fight from the opening whistle.
The game went backwards and forwards, with both sides creating opportunities and neither willing to give an inch.
Then, late in the first half, Kiah Skuse Arrevillaga produced an absolute BLINDER from more than 30 metres out, finding the back of the net and sending Villa into the break with a 1–0 lead.
The second half was once again evenly contested, with the Villa ladies battling hard to protect their advantage.
Then, with just five minutes remaining, a tackle that appeared to be a good challenge turned into a nightmare as UPE were awarded a penalty. UPE converted, bringing the scores level at 1–1.
While it wasn't the win we were chasing, the League Championship isnt out of reach.
Two games remain. Two wins, and Villa can still claim the League Championship.
Next up, our ladies return to Villa Park on Wednesday night to take on a much-improved KSS Jets side.
We need our supporters there.
Get to Villa Park, get behind the girls and make some noise. These ladies have fought all season for this opportunity, and now they need the Villa faithful behind them.

Top of the Table Clash
It’s a TOP OF THE TABLE CLASH this Saturday!
Our Doon Villa Premier League Ladies head north to Bundaberg to take on United Park Eagles at Martens Oval, with kick-off at 3:00pm.
With the league championship on the line, every point counts. The Magpies need a win, or at the very least a draw, to remain firmly in the fight for the title.
The ladies have trained hard, prepared well and are ready to get amongst it.
Come on Villa, bring home the points!
