Today wasn’t the result our boys had hoped for, but nothing can take away from what this group has achieved in 2026.

To reach a Grand Final takes more than talent. It takes commitment, sacrifice, resilience and a group of young men willing to work for each other. Our U15s showed all of that throughout the season and earned the right to represent Coogee Randwick Wombats on the biggest stage.

Of course it hurts. It should. When you care about your teammates, your jersey and your club, losing a Grand Final is always going to hurt.

But boys, keep your heads up.

Be proud that you made it there. Be proud of the season you put together. Be proud of the friendships you have built and the memories you have created along the way.

Today’s result does not define this team.

What defines you is the way you represented the Wombats, the way you stood beside each other and the way you kept turning up for one another all season.

To our coaches, trainers, officials, parents, families and supporters, thank you for everything you have given these boys throughout the year. The support surrounding this team has been incredible.

And to our boys, thank you for taking all of us along for the ride.
