The Soupa Series organising committee went out for some celebratory drinks last night at York Lane Cafe & Bar 🍷🍾 . We also had a debrief about this season, and discussed ideas to make it better in 2027!
Thanks to all the clubs that hosted a round, and all the riders who attended to make it such a success.
Looking forward to 2027 already! Stay tuned…

🚨LEADERBOARD UPDATE
The committee have been hard at work double and triple checking the spreadsheet and have detected a few errors 😬.
The main change is in B grade men, where Thomas Grimshaw-Hudson finishes 3rd, with Jeff Morton Racing in equal 4th with Ben Glastonbury. Apologies Jeff, but you can keep your podium photo forever! 🙌🏻
In the clubs competition, it was actually a tie for 3rd between Dulwich Hill Bicycle Club and Southern Cross Cycling Club, as well as a tie for 5th between St George Cycling Club and Rapha Cycling Club Sydney!!
Unfortunately with the postponement of the final round, a lot of our series podium winners were away, so are missing from the photos.
So that’s Soupa Series 2026, over and out!

📣 FINAL OVERALL SERIES LEADERBOARD
After 6 fantastic rounds of racing, the Sydney Winter Soupa Series comes to a close for 2026.
134 riders (including 36 women) lined up at Heffron Park hosted by RANDWICK CYCLING on a beautiful sunny winter’s day, minus the famous Heffron wind.
The postponement of the final round due to rain saw many of our regular riders absent (with a number escaping to Europe), which gave others a chance to steal a series podium spot.
Congratulations to all our series winners 🙌🏻. Every grade was hard fought with healthy competition throughout.
In the clubs competition, RANDWICK CYCLING finished the series strongly, putting distance into Centennial Park Cycling Club in the last two rounds taking the win. Dulwich Hill Bicycle Club finished 3rd, with Southern Cross Cycling Club just 4 points behind, and St George Cycling Club rounding out the top 5.
Massive thanks to the series sponsor haralambis property 🙏🏼 The top 3 for each grade will be contacted to claim their prize money, which is equal across all grades and gender.
We had a total of over 1000 entries across the 6 rounds, which shows local Sydney racing is alive and kicking. Better still, we were able to hold separate women’s races at every round with a huge increase in women’s numbers from last year. 💁🏻♀️
It’s been emotional. See you next year!
