What a weekend for the Randwick crew 🔥🚴

SATURDAY — Sydney Road Titles at Lansdowne (cheers Waratah Masters Cycling Club )
Damp, sketchy track, too many strong riders for a break to stick — but the team delivered. Byron flew the flag in A with a strong sprint for 5th. In C, Calvin kicked hard for 2nd (jet-lagged, no less), Shane grabbing 3rd, Gareth 5th after lighting up the front all race. Over in D, Daz went solo off the front for the WIN, Sam Carroll winning the bunch sprint to take 2nd.

SUNDAY — CX State Champs
The podiums kept coming. Catherine took the C Grade STATE TITLE 🥇 Dan crowned M7 NSW State Champ 🥇 and Daz backed up his road win with 2nd in C grade CX.

Solo wins, state titles, podiums across the board. Massive weekend. Let’s go 👊🔥

RANDWICK CYCLING

Lots of racing at both Heffron, Waratah park, and SMSP over the weekend and more than our fair share of podiums. The run in to the winter racing season is well and truly on 🚂🚂🚂

An eventful weekend down at the Hayman Classic with tougher than expected conditions claiming more than its fair share of punctures.

The team rode strong, with Charlie 4th Gareth 8th in C, Ian 3rd in B and Izzy and Kate driving the pace within the a-grade women’s race before puncturing out.

Another busy weekend of riding — plenty of zone 2 punctuated by Easter Monday racing at Waratah Masters, SMSP.

Huge turnout from all the Sydney clubs and some consistent results again from the team. Marion finishing 2nd in D grade, Ryan picking up 2nd in B, and fistfuls of sharaz surrounding the top 10 across all grades.
Shoutouts to Luke and Ryan T for being in the mix for the A grade sprint. And to Raf and Mathieu in B grade — attacked relentlessly throughout and were hard on the pedals on the last lap to help Ryan pick up the second.
Consistency is building.

The results are starting to roll in. On and up. 🪓🪓🪓

As the TNH summer season comes to a close, I could not be prouder of this crew. From first-timers nervously chopping off, to regulars throwing elbows in the final corner - this is what a race team looks like.

That said… kit’s coming soon. And this team is going to get even better looking.

Another epic weekend of racing. Special shoutouts to .roberts and son Darcy who picked up the win and 4th at Westhead in c-grade. And to for yet another consistent result against some incredibly strong riders 🔥🔥🔥

Randwick represented strongly at The Odd Spoke Cup by last weekend.

Congratulations to Gareth Collins for a well deserved 2nd place in Div 3 after spending most of the race in a 3 man breakaway. Huge effort! Joined on the podium by fellow Randwick member Titan Edgerton in 3rd place.

Further congratulations to new club member William Henderson coming in 2nd place in Div 4!

Well done to the rest of the team who were close but nudged out in the sprints.

Congratulations to our Randwick riders at the Sydney Metropolitan Road Titles today. The weather warmed up and made for some hot battles out at Lansdowne.

Daniele Vanolini took first place in Masters 6 category holding onto his title from last year with Allan Smith coming in third. While in Masters 4, Luke Cromer won the sprint for third behind the two breakaway riders.
