Weāve all been thereā¦Youāre a little disorganised, short on time or just feeling off - So you press play on a random playlist. Then it happens: one jagged track lands mid-class and the whole room gets pulled out of the zone (including you).
Thatās the moment I stopped outsourcing the soundtrack and started curating on purpose. Using the Trinity Method (Create | Sustain | Dissolve) gave me a simple arc to hold the room.
The shift was immediate. Students asked me for the savasana track by name after class - Not once but multiple times - Because they wanted to keep listening at home. Others lingered longer, talking about how much they loved that final track. The music didnāt just shape the practice - It created sangha (community).
The science backs this: music doesnāt just move us individually, it bonds people. Yogis have known this for centuries- neuroscience is catching up šš§ š¶
I created a free Playlist Guide to make this simple.

š¶ Playlist Pressure?
If creating a yoga playlist feels like too much effort, youāre not alone. Decision fatigue is real. But the truth is - You donāt need endless options, you need one steady structure.
⨠Think Sthira (steadiness): a reliable arc that holds energy rather than overwhelms.
āØThink Sukha (ease): a simple flow - Creation, Sustain, Dissolve - That clears the noise.
⨠Think Pravaha (flow): music that carries your students seamlessly from first breath to last.
Instead of ātoo much effortā, try āone simple structure, every timeā. Thatās how your playlists shift from background noise into a sonic journey your students actually feel.
This is the backbone of The Yoga Sessions

If your playlist is just background noise, you might as well press stop now. A finely tuned yoga playlist has the power to guide energy, shape space and create an arc that allows your students to embody grit AND grace no matter what the moment throws at you⦠Because letās face it the right track at the right time can be the difference between checking out and dropping in.
