Sunshine Coast District Winter Carnival In 2027, the carnival marks its 63rd year, continuing a proud tradition Nominations can be made on line through the website or through the Carnival Magazine.

Located on the beautiful Sunshine Coast of Queensland, the Sunshine Coast Winter Carnival of Bowls has grown into one of the region’s most enduring and welcoming lawn bowls events. Coming into our 55th year we are continuously tyring to improve on the event, with feedback from participants. Last year we exceeded all records and we expect no less this year

The event begins with a prelude commences

at the end of May with the Buderim Prestige Fours. Events include Singles, Pairs, triples and fours in Ladies, Men's, Mixed, Open and run until the end of July.

What a great finish for the singles such a great game, neck and neck all the way. Adrian Stoeckel put in some fantastic bowls along with Peter Doreen keeping the crowd cheering and oohing.

However this year's winner of the singles in the 2026 Winter Carnival is Peter Doreen.
