Badminton Australia Performance Pathway Partner Maribyrnong Sports Academy is currently accepting Year 7 applications for 2025!

MSA provides a world-class training and education environment for elite Australian badminton players, including current student Shrey Dhand and former alumni Gronya Somerville and Jacob Schueler.

Maribyrnong College offers VCE and Vocational education that is paired with its high-performance badminton program led by a coaching-team that includes multiple Olympians and Australian National Champions.

Badminton Family, our own hubby & wife team, Erin Louise & Ben Walklate- are both pulling on the Lycra in the LIVE for LILY bike ride next year. 1000km, 7 days and lots of hills in the saddle around Victoria. Play Badminton Junior Training will return this week, with sessions starting on the following days

Friday Development Session - 4 Feb: 530pm-7pm
Sunday Development Sessions - 6 Feb: 10am-12pm
Elite Squad - 6 Feb: 12pm-2pm (Trial only)

Development sessions are open to both new and returning sessions, all you need to do is just show up! Elite Squad is by trial only.

Play Badminton will be closed from Monday 20th Dec and reopen on Tuesday 4th Jan. During this time the courts will be resurfaced ready for January 2022. Merry Christmas! 🎄

Maribyrnong Sports Academy (MSA) is offering a Parent Tour on Thursday 9 December from 11:30am – 12:30pm. The format will consist of a tour of the school and sports facilities, led by our senior student-athletes and include an address from the MSA Sports Director and Assistant Principal with an opportunity for Q & A. Registrations are limited to three people per booking. Register via our home page by Friday 3 December.
