Elite Tennis Management has officially become the agent for Rafa Nadal Academy, will start introducing tennis kids the pathway to Mallorca during season 2021/2022 once the borders are open!!

As Australian borders remain closed to visitors, some Chinese junior players managed under my agency have been organised to train in Serbia instead, hopefully we can come back in 2022.

Job description

About Shanghai Tennis Team

Sponsored by local enterprises and state government, Shanghai Tennis Team is a top national level of tennis academy focusing on training and developing of high performance level of tennis players. Since established, Shanghai Tennis Team has been joined by the most talented junior tennis players aged from 12 to14 nationwide with offering the comprehensive development programs to help the players to achieve their career goals. Shanghai Tennis Team has nourished National squad player Di Wu and current top one Chinese ATP player Zhizhen Zhang since they were little boys. Located on the edge of one of the high society suburbs in Shanghai, the academy is facilitated with four outdoor courts, three indoor courts, gym centre, dorms and restaurant.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop and deliver strength & conditioning programs
- Proven knowledge of nutrition, massage therapy and sports medicine
- Actively engage with players to provide a quality training experience
- Provide effective communication and feedback to the players and the management team
- Be able to work in a team environment
- Fitness coaching for 4-6 hours per day, 5.5 days per week.

Qualifications

- Teaching and fitness training experience working with all ages and abilities (juniors and adults)
- Good knowledge of Tennis
- Highly effective organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage and inspire players as well as provide evaluation of each player
- Bachelors or masters degree preferred from accredited institution.
- Certificates, memberships and internships in related fields to the job description.
- Prior experience in working with tour players and/or associations & federations is desirable.
- You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a valid Police Check.
