Why did I get onto the mat today?
Today it looked a little different.
It was about heart coherence and nervous system regulation.
There are so many amazing breathwork practices out there, yet I also believe that some forms of breathwork can create more arousal rather than balance for some people, especially to begin with.
For me, being attuned to my nervous system and understanding how I can use my breath to invite greater regulation and heart coherence has become incredibly important.
It is a form of meditation for me. A way of becoming more embodied. A way of checking in with how I actually am before simply moving into my day.
I often speak about my body as my most precious instrument. It receives. It senses. It communicates. It lets me know when something may need adjusting.
And the more I can listen, the more I can become a wise steward of my own experience and how I steer my life.
Learning to create greater resonance and heart coherence, while allowing my nervous system to feel safe and grounded within my physical body, has been a game changer in my own journey of embodiment.
It is one of the practices I return to again and again to attune to my body-mind and listen more closely to my inner guidance.
To be the best steward I can be of this experience called life…
with a wise, wild, open heart as my compass. ❤️

Why did I get onto the mat today?
It was to attune to the divine feminine and masculine within me, and to become aware of how they manifest within my body - or how my body can actually become a channel and a vessel to bring the two back into harmony within myself.
Over the last few years, I have noticed that I sometimes react from a wounded feminine, and that, to my surprise, my masculine wasn’t feeling safe, let alone fully embodied… more about that some other time.
And so my body has really become that channel- that possibility and ability to manifest and embody what I have spiritually strived for, for so long.
Unbeknownst to some of you, there were times when I really didn’t want to be in my body. I was absolutely not appreciative of my body, nor did I think it was capable or even worthy.
That has been a long journey.
And these days, I would never want to be in anyone else’s body or anyone else’s life.
Getting onto the mat has become a way of experiencing life fully; with its ups and downs, its grievances as well as its joys. With each day, I appreciate my body, my embodiment, and my life more and more.
And so, getting onto the mat is an act of devotion. An expression of love and gratitude for being embodied.
For me, living a spiritual life is not just about the concept of being spiritual. It is about embodiment. About fully inhabiting this physical form that is inspirited, inhabited and surrounded by soul.
So, as you can see, getting onto the mat for me is so much more than being fit or looking after my fascia and of course I appreciate these aspects and benefits for getting onto the mat too.
It is about being embodied in this exquisite life we are gifted - with all that it brings, the challenges and the treasures.
And choosing, again and again, to be here for all of it.
Have a wonderful Monday 🪽🤍
Why did I get onto the mat today?
It is something I ponder often, because the answer isn’t always the same.
Today, I am preparing and filming some of the support material for my upcoming Heart Coherence Retreat - fascia-focused movement classes inspired by FAMO Fascia Movement, meditations and breathwork.
Before I can share any of that, I want to feel deeply embodied myself.
Embodied has become a bit of a buzzword, yet for me it is quite simple. It means making my body as attuned an instrument and vessel as possible. Becoming aware of where I am physically, energetically, emotionally and spiritually, so that what I share can come through from a clear and authentic place.
Getting onto the mat and moving is one of the ways I do this.
I woke up with plenty of energy today, and at the same time I wanted to connect more deeply to my strength, my core, my authenticity and that feeling of being heart-led.
And now, after moving, I’ll do some breathwork before I begin filming.
There is a beautiful creativity ablaze within me today, which feels fantastic, and at the same time there is a quietness and serenity underneath it.
Both can exist.
This is also very much at the heart of the retreat - learning to listen, sense and recognise where we are, rather than assuming we need the same thing every day. Through movement, breath, meditation and the exploration of the Five Heart States, we develop a deeper relationship with our own inner guidance and what brings us back towards coherence.
So I’m curious...
Why do YOU get onto the mat, meditate, practice breathwork or go into nature?
Do you know what you are seeking or nourishing when you do?
And does your WHY change from day to day?
I’d love to hear. ❤️

✨ ELASTICISING THE BODY ✨
Simply Profound: Embodying & Embraining FAMO Theory & Application
Who is it for?
Movement professionals, bodyworkers, movement teachers of any modality, and fascia enthusiasts with some anatomical understanding.
What if you could retrain your body’s natural spring, buoyancy and elasticity?
Elasticity is a unique fascial movement quality that brings structural resilience to the body, lightness to everyday movement, efficiency to athletic performance and - from experience - a more uplifted state of being.
And the wonderful thing is: elasticity can be retrained and enhanced, helping us restore a more youthful sense of inner spring.
Join me for this practical FAMO Fascia Movement workshop, where we will explore two seemingly simple yet profoundly effective exercises:
✨ Dynamic Hip Release & Side Bend
✨ Energy Swing
Together, we will embody and discuss:
• How to safely retrain an elastic fascial architecture for both fascially loose and taut body types
• When, why and how to engage — or disengage — specific muscles
• How to use breath for particular myofascial purposes
• Why movement sequencing matters
• How movement rhythm relates to the tensile strength of fascia
This repertoire combination elasticises the body from the inside out, the outside in, and all around, creating a remarkable sense of lift, lightness and inner vitality.
This is practical FAMO theory brought into the body - embodied, experienced and understood.

Here a snipped of my European summer getaway - it was more a get-inward than anything else, and it was a pure delight having for the second time this year quite a bit of time “just” to tend to my Self and my becoming.
Hustle is no longer a tune I dance to, yet dancing with life, and especially with my life that I do more of and with sensual delight.
Being optimistic and flirtatious with my becoming and with life is another fun new added dimension, and yes amongst it all it was hard, and at times Truthfully sobering to see when old beloved, and or behaviours got the better of me. The welcoming of ‘hey that’s being human’ and, that I no longer beat myself up for being just that - life has gotten even sweeter, and has and is gaining even more depth.
Yes, I wish to be the best, kindest, spunky version of mySelf, and with that comes accepting, and being all my emotional, sensual, raging, and at times short tempered self…
Allowing myself to be celebrated by mySelf and by others is also something I will keep in my life. Knowing how loved we are by others can be scary, and very vulnerable…
It helped me expand my heart even more, and to allow myself to stay present to accept all they showed me with - love, friendship, accepting all of me, cheering me on, and truly wising me the world… yes so vulnerable - and so very worth it. Try it for you are worthy.
If any of this resonance, or created a string of sensations, thoughts, emotions I’d love to hear from you.
May you have a blessed Sunday 🪽

FAMO TACTILE CUEING; Offers an in-depth exploration of touch as a teaching tool within fascia-informed movement
3 & 4 November- in person or online participation.
Online participation: You need to attend 60% live and have a model to practice with at all times.
Only the registered participant will receive a certificate.
Handout: 🎥 Video library About the Course:
Touch is one of the most powerful forms of communication in movement. In fascia-informed practice, a well-placed hand can express what words cannot offering direction, support, and awareness that deepen the mover’s internal and external connection.
Through tactile cueing, touch becomes both a language and a tool, refining coordination (proprioception), enriching sensation (interoception), and grounding presence in the environment (exteroception).
Learning this subtle and skilful art cultivates clarity of intention what you teach and why you touch, and confidence in your ability to communicate through touch. It also nurtures trust, presence, and connection between teacher and mover, expanding the depth, precision, and sensitivity of your teaching.
At the course, you will explore the power of touch as both feedback and guidance. You will practice tactile cueing with fellow participants using selected FAMO Fascia Movement exercises and experience hands-on guidance yourself, allowing you to embody both perspectives; giving and receiving.
You’ll discover how tactile feedback can awaken perception, coordination, and connection - transforming your ability to guide movement with clarity and presence. This module strengthens your capacity to teach with hands-on intelligence, refining the sensitivity, confidence, and purpose of your tactile communication. It complements the FAMO Fascia Movement repertoire by adding a profound embodied layer to your teaching practice.
