A spontaneous trip with dad to Vemdalen, driving through the countryside towards the mountains, the fields of wildflowers, waterways, rivers and endless forest. Hours of silence, lots of memories and reflection as well as playing “Who am I” .
THIS is living to the fullest!!

Swedish wild strawberries, car ferry rides across islands to cafes next to boat docking, precious family gatherings and dancing with mum in the kitchen.
Sweet moments of seeing the closest of friends, hill training sessions on my childhood ski slop and taking mum shopping.
Going to a soccer game with dad, admiring his commitment to longevity and friendships.
Having a G&T next to the roses and finding a secret garden near the city.
A final outing to the heights of Stockholm and my heart is flooded by all the memories made. Holding it all in my heart forever.

Still so much to reflect on from our little adventure away in the Blue Mountains. As someone who’s shaped a life in a new country friendships mean everything.
I really wanted to share a small insight into the Swedish culture and they all were impressively receptive 😆🙌
The whole trip felt so easy and fun with a great balance of nature appreciation and party silliness!
It made it even more special to have some kids (teens) there.

sorry but you were like a smiling assassin in your first year 😬😆 - a stunningly beautiful baby but a total terror!! But obviously you are making well and truly up for all those sleepless nights as you are the most amazing person and so loved by anyone that the pleasure of knowing you.
You are the quiet achiever + cool as ice. I adore your genuine interest in people and conversations and I believe you can charm the birds out of a tree. 😄
