You NEED to Track Calories... Or Do You?
The health and fitness industry is full of advice and influencers harping on about how you need to track calories to lose weight. But you don't. If you are balancing work, family, sport, study and everything else that life throws at you, counting every calorie isn't something you are going to mainta...

First run in over 3 months! Yes! And it felt amazing. You wouldn't know that I had hip surgery back in May. How did I go from no running straight into 30mins/4.5kms? The little things - 10mins each morning of physio. Another 10mins after lunch. Day after day. Some days it didn't go so well. Other days I did it 3 times. I fuelled my body rather than filled my body - I wasn't as active (ok so I wasn't active at all....) so I reduced my portion sizes, ensure I had veggies & protein at every meal. I still had chocolate. I still ate ice cream. But not every day. I focused on recovery - phone off before bed, light stretching (within my surgeons guidelines), writing all my frustrations and thoughts in my head into my journal so they didn't annoy me while was trying to sleep. Most of what I was doing only took 10mins here and there. Some not even 10mins.
You could start today with one 10min action that builds into you achieving your goals. So tell me, what 1 action can you do that takes you from "I want to..." or "I wish I could..." to "look what I have just done!"

Stop chasing motivation. Start training smarter.
One of the biggest mistakes I see people make is trying to do everything, all at once.
Train harder. Run faster. Add another workout. Push through the ni**le. Skip the recovery day.
The problem?
Your body can only handle so much before something gives.
The strongest, fittest and most consistent people aren't always the ones doing the most.
They're the ones balancing effort with recovery.
That's a big part of what Fuel • Move • Recover is all about.
✅ Fuel your body well ✅ Move with purpose ✅ Recover so your body can adapt and grow stronger
Because you can't sprint through a marathon and you can't sprint through life either.
What's one thing you could do this week to improve your recovery?

Feeling completely exhausted by midday and reaching for your third coffee?
Before you assume you are burning out, check your fluid intake. Mild dehydration mimics brain fog, muscle fatigue, and low energy, making a demanding day feel twice as hard.
Hydration is the simplest energy protocol you can implement.
Keep a bottle on your desk, your console, or your kitchen counter. Clear the fog and protect your physical performance before relying on caffeine to survive the week.
