📣All athletes need to have their age patch and rego number patches on their club singlets or shirts tonight.

🔵If you do not yet have your uniform, please safety pin your age patch and rego number to the top you are wearing.

⚪️It is important to attach your patches to your uniform, as this allows results to be recorded efficiently.

🔵Week B Program this week:

⚪️Tiny Tots- commence at 5.30pm

🔵Age Manager sign on from 5.30pm- please sign on and collect your bucket & vest from the office.

⚪️6s-Masters- commence at 6.00pm

🔵Please wait in the Grandstand until you are called to marshal at the witch's hats. Age groups will require dedicated Age Managers in attendance before they can move off to their first event.

⚪️The first event of the night is highlighted in yellow below. After the first event your age group makes their way to another event on your program in any order.

🔵The first track event of the night will run in age order for those groups that have track as their first event.

⚪️Track events will take precedence and you may have to pause a field event and come back to it if you are called for a track event. Please leave an Age Manager or parent helper at the field event while you are briefly at the track event.

🔵If you are not sure or need help with anything seek out a committee member to call for assistance.

⚠️The first couple of weeks is always VERY busy and can take longer than usual. It will get better and the nights will go faster after everyone settles into the new season. It is really important for parents to assist with their children's age groups as this helps the events run much smoother.

📣 The wonderful Youngs Food Trikes (who do our Friday night bbq/catering) have a few vacancies coming up!

If you know any young people (aged 12 to 15) who might be interested in working with Youngs on Friday nights, they’d love to hear from them.

It’s a great opportunity to gain some work experience, build confidence and earn a little money along the way.

📍Friday 4/9 will be our second and final:

📣Age Manager/Parent and Athlete Event Introduction📣

⚠️Our first two club nights on Friday 28/8 & Friday 4/9 will be non competition/non point scoring⚠️

➡️530pm start for Tiny Tots
➡️6pm start for all other ages
📍Please arrive 15min early

⚠️Parents are required to be in attendance with their child- athletics is not a drop & run sport -

🔵These first two club nights are designed especially for athletes and parents that are brand new to athletics, with a focus on a brief introduction to each event for athletes and demonstrations for parents on how to assist/measure/record at events.

⚪️No results will be recorded, attempts at field events will only be measured as an example for parent helpers.

🔵Each event will be limited to 20mins with brand new athletes given priority.

⚪️We are hoping to have some experienced age managers or senior athletes assist at each field event to help our new parents learn the basics.

🙏Please comment below or message us if you are happy to assist at a particular event.

**Returning and experienced athletes are not required to attend (but welcome to assist/support), the first two weeks do not count for attendance purposes for end of season awards**
