ULTIMATE TO MAKE HISTORIC DEBUT AT THE 2027 AUSTRALIAN MASTERS GAMES

Ultimate will officially feature in the Australian Masters Games for the first time in the event’s history when the Games head to the Central Coast and Newcastle from 13 to 20 November 2027.

The sport will be hosted at the state of the art Central Coast Regional Sporting & Recreation Complex in Tuggerah, bringing fast paced action, athleticism, and community spirit to the regional venue.

“We are thrilled to have Ultimate included in the Australian Masters Games for the very first time in 2027,” NSW Ultimate CEO, Ivan Spyrdz said.

“Ultimate is fun, inclusive, and deeply community driven. Joining the Games line-up is a huge milestone for our sport, giving Masters players a grand stage to compete on and offering new audiences a chance to experience the Spirit of the Game first hand."

NSW Ultimate will organize and deliver the Ultimate component of the Games. Full competition details, including age divisions, roster structures, and registration schedules, will be released by the organization in the coming months.

"If you have thrown a frisbee, you can play Ultimate," Mr Spyrdz added.

“The Central Coast is an incredible backdrop for the 2027 Australian Masters Games. We encourage everyone to come along, get involved and have a fantastic experience on the Central Coast."

The 2027 Australian Masters Games is expected to draw thousands of competitors across dozens of sports, driving significant tourism and community participation across both the Central Coast and Newcastle regions.

Further information regarding event registration and competition guidelines will be made available through the official Australian Masters Games and NSW Ultimate channels.
