Fat Farmers They were all in their 40s & no longer playing footy and realised they needed to get more active to avoid potential health problems. Go you Fat Farmers !!

Growing healthier and connected communities across Australia 🌾

📍 80+ groups with Active Farmers
🩺 1200+ free health checks delivered

Join or start a group now - contact us via our website. Fat Farmers got started back in 2010 when local farmers, Ben Wundersitz, Greg Hean & Scott Hoyle started going to the then new gym at Maitland on the Yorke Peninsula. Gradually other groups got started across SA and we encourage anyone interested in starting a group to get in touch! We run (or walk) the City to Bay every year and it’s great to get all our groups together for the day! But you don’t need to be part of a group to join us, just sign up to our team when you register! Our aim is to reach more rural communities across SA - and beyond - in 2023.

We're pretty sure there have been plenty of laughs, smiles and memories made along the way. 💚

12 bikes. Endless opportunity. 🚴🌾

This is what investing in rural communities looks like.

Thanks to the incredible support of Darling Irrigation , our Active Farmers Mangoplah community now has a fleet of 12 brand-new spin bikes—opening the door to more classes, more people, and more opportunities to get moving together.

These aren't a one-off donation or a flash-in-the-pan campaign. These bikes will be here for years to come, creating healthy habits, strengthening friendships, and giving people of all ages a place to connect and improve their wellbeing. That's the ripple effect of genuine community investment.

To everyone at Darling Irrigation: thank you for believing in rural Australia and backing your community in a way that will leave a lasting legacy.

You're absolute legends. 💙💧

🌱 4 WEEKS OF FUN — WEEK 2! 🌱

This week we want to see your FUNNIEST or MOST CREATIVE GROUP PHOTO!

Get your training crew together, grab your mates, get dressed up, strike a ridiculous pose, recreate something iconic… whatever you can come up with! 🤪

The more creative, the better!

🏆 THE PRIZE:
The winning group will score 10 Fat Farmers / Active Farmers coffee mugs! ☕️☕️☕️

So round up your crew, get the whole town involved and show us what your group is made of!
