Our 𝟑 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 $𝟑 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 is available to new students interested in our:

🐯 Little Tigers classes
🥋 Children’s Taekwondo classes
💪 Teen classes
🔥 Adult classes

No previous martial arts experience is required. Complete beginners are always welcome!

𝐃𝐨 𝐈 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐚 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭?

No Taekwondo uniform is required for the trial.

A Taekwondo uniform is called a 𝒅𝒐𝒃𝒐𝒌, but you don’t need to purchase one before getting started.

For the trial classes, simply wear:

✅ Comfortable clothes suitable for movement
✅ A T-shirt with shorts, leggings or track pants
✅ Bare feet while training on the mats

Please bring a water bottle and remove jewellery before class.

During the trial, students will meet our instructors, join an appropriate class and experience how we teach confidence, focus, discipline and Taekwondo skills.

There is no expectation to already know what to do. Every black belt started with a first class!

Yes, we teach kicks, patterns, sparring and self-defence.

But that isn’t the biggest reason VTEAM Taekwondo exists.

We exist to create a place where students feel safe, welcomed and supported—a place where they can make mistakes, face challenges and become stronger through the process.

Our mission is to help every student 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐬, both inside and outside the dojang.

Through Taekwondo training, we aim to help students develop:

An adult becomes fitter, calmer and more willing to challenge themselves.

These are the moments that remind us why we teach.

Belts, medals and techniques are important milestones—but they are not the final product.

🥋 𝐇𝐢, 𝐈’𝐦 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐫𝐢𝐜!

For families who are new to VTEAM Taekwondo, I thought I’d take a moment to introduce myself.

I’m 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐫𝐢𝐜 𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐧, the Founder and Head Instructor of VTEAM Taekwondo in Maidstone. I’m also a 𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐀𝐍 𝐊𝐮𝐤𝐤𝐢𝐰𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐁𝐞𝐥𝐭, and martial arts has been a major part of my life for many years.

Throughout my journey, I’ve had the privilege of learning from experienced masters, instructors and mentors who taught me far more than kicks, patterns and sparring. They taught me the importance of discipline, humility, respect and continuing to learn—no matter what belt or rank you achieve.

These are the same values I aim to pass on to every VTEAM student.

My teaching philosophy is simple: every student deserves to feel noticed, supported and encouraged to improve at their own pace.

At VTEAM, we want students to become:

Of course, we teach Taekwondo skills. But the bigger goal is to help students become stronger people inside and outside the dojang.

Belts are important milestones, but the real achievement is the person a student becomes along the way.
