PJ WEEK starts tomorrow!
It’s time to swap the dancewear for your favourite PJs and join us for a fun week of dancing at IWD.
Come along to your normal classes in your comfiest, funniest or favourite pyjamas.
Just make sure you can still move and dance safely in them, and don’t forget to wear your correct dance shoes for class.
We can’t wait to see what everyone wears!
And just like that... EMOTIONS 💛💙❤️💜💚 is starting to come to life in our classes!
After Sunday's Theme Reveal, our teachers have been making sure every dancer knows this year's theme and, most importantly, revealing which character they'll be bringing to life on stage.
There have been some VERY excited reactions around the studio!
This week is all about discovering who they'll be, talking about the theme and building the excitement for what's ahead.
Then, from Monday, the next part begins... choreography!
Over the coming months, our dancers will learn their routines, develop their performance skills and work together to bring EMOTIONS to the stage for our 2026 End of Year Performance.

A very big congratulations to our Cecchetti Grade 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 students who completed their ballet exams last Tuesday!
For some of our dancers, this was their very first ballet exam. For others, it was another step in a journey that has seen them progress through increasingly challenging grades.
While we won't receive results for a few weeks, today we're celebrating everything that happened before exam day.
The classes. The practice. The corrections. The repetition. The moments when something was difficult and they kept working at it.
Exams give our dancers the opportunity to work towards a goal, develop strong ballet technique and experience the satisfaction that comes from being well prepared and doing their very best.
We are incredibly proud of the commitment and effort each of our dancers put into their preparation.
And a very special thank you to our wonderful Cecchetti Ballet teachers, Mary and Milly, for the care, expertise and many hours of preparation that went into getting our students ready for their exams. Your support and high expectations help our dancers continue to grow and achieve.

We were looking forward to celebrating our Theme Reveal together at the studio on Friday night. While this week didn't quite go to plan, we know how excited everyone has been, and there was no way we were going to keep you waiting any longer.

We’re getting ready to welcome you back!
After a very unexpected few days, we’re now able to get into the studio and the big clean is underway.
The good news is that classes will be back from Monday!
Things may look and feel a little different around the studio for a little while as everything around us gets back to normal, but we’re so happy to be getting back to what we do best, teaching dance and having our dancers back in class.
A huge thank you to our families for your patience, flexibility and all the lovely messages of support this week. We’ve really felt the strength of our IWD community.
And don’t forget, our Theme Reveal is still happening online tomorrow!
