A hard-fought point on the road today against Noranda Emerald in what was always going to be a tough 1st vs 2nd contest.

An excellent first-half header from Thierry Berard gave us the lead, before Emerald responded in the second half to see the points shared at 1–1.

Plenty of effort from both sides and another competitive 90 minutes. We take the point, learn from it and move forward.

Now there is one game remaining.

Next weekend we return HOME to face Ballajura in the final game of our Amateur Premier League season. ❤️🦘

We’d love to see a huge Wanneroo crowd down at Players Place to get behind the boys one final time. The support throughout the season has meant a lot to the players and staff, and having the Roo family behind the team next weekend would be a fantastic way to finish the campaign.

Tomorrow we head to Noranda for what promises to be a fantastic game of football as Wanneroo City take on Noranda Emerald in a top-of-the-table clash.

There’s plenty riding on the game, but our approach doesn’t change. One game at a time. We know we’re coming up against a very good Emerald side on their home ground, and we’ll need to earn everything we get.

The boys have worked incredibly hard to put themselves in this position. Now, with just two games remaining, we’d love to see the Wanneroo community get behind them. ❤️🖤

North Perth United 2–2 Wanneroo City

A hard fought point on the road at Woodville Reserve today, in a game that went right to the very end.

With time running out, up stepped 1st Team goalkeeper Cian Flynn — getting forward for one final push and powering home a bullet header in the dying moments to secure a 2–2 draw! 🧤⚽💥

Cian was outstanding throughout the game and then delivered at the other end when we needed him most. A huge performance and, in our opinion, a thoroughly deserved Man of the Match. 👏

The point sees us briefly move four points clear at the top of the Amateur Premier League, with Emerald Noranda currently in action against Jaguar.

Just two games to go, but our focus remains exactly where it has been all season:

Next weekend we’re back on the road again for a huge 1st vs 2nd clash against Emerald Noranda. Another massive challenge away from home, and we’d love to see as many Roos as possible making the trip to get behind the boys. ❤️🦘

FULL TIME | ROOS WIN 🔴⚪️

A solid afternoon at Players Place as the First Team picked up a win over Kelmscott Roos.

The scoreline probably doesn’t tell the full story of the game, with Kelmscott making us work hard throughout. Credit to the lads for staying disciplined, taking our chances and seeing the job through.

Another three points, but nothing changes — three games to go and our focus moves straight to the next one.
