Hey everyone and welcome to 2026!
We are looking to a big year and hope you are as well.

Tonight is our first class back for the year.

This year we are introducing a kids class! This will be suitable for any age up to 12/13 years old.

Our timetable for 2026 is as following
Thursday - 5:15pm to 6:00pm - Kids class
Thursday - 6:00pm to 7:30pm - Adults class

Saturday - 9:00am to 11:00am - All ages

All classes are located the Sozokan academy of martial arts.

Hello everyone.

We have an updated timetable. Please be aware that we do not train at the Gosnells RSL Hall anymore on Tuesdays. The current training schedule is;

Thursday at Sozokan Academy of Martial Arts & Fitness
6:00pm to 7:30pm

Saturday at Sozokan Academy of Martial Arts & Fitness
9:00am to 11:00am

We have also made the decision to currently not accept any new students that are under the age of 12 as we are not running a kids class.

Hello everyone

Due to having to wear masks indoors, we are opting to cancel training this week completely.

Both Tuesday and Thursday are cancelled

Hopefully things are back to normal next week.

Our condolences to Shihan Juans family and friends.

Just a reminder that Tuesday classes do not run during the school holidays.

Thursdays at the Sozokan Academy of Martial Arts & Fitness are still running from 6:00pm to 7:30pm are still running.

Hello everyone,

It is disturbing to read that physical assaults from students to teachers have increased significantly over the past 4 years.

What seems to be even worse is that teachers are not protected under mandatory legislation (like police, prison officers, paramedics and nurses) if attacked by an aggravated parent.

It does not matter what occupation that you have, you deserve to be safe at work.

As a response to this, Arjuken Karate Perth will be offering free lessons to any primary or secondary teacher and/or staff until the end of the year at our Gosnells Dojo.
