🩷🤍💙BDNA 2027 REPRESENTATIVE TRIALS – REGISTRATIONS OPEN 🩷🤍💙

Registrations are now open for the Banyule & Districts Netball Association 2027 Representative Program.

Players interested in trialling should please note the following information:

SCREENING DAY – MONDAY 13 OCTOBER

Players who are not currently a BDNA representative player will need to attend the screening day. Successful players will then be invited to Day 1 of trials on Sunday 18th October.

🔴 IMPORTANT COMMITMENT

Players selected in 11/U through to 17/U must commit to playing in a BDNA competition during 2027.

This requirement does not apply to players trialling for Open or top-age 17/U.

🏐 TRAINING & COMPETITION

🩷Representative training is held on Monday nights.
15/U teams compete at Parkville on Thursday nights.
💙17/U and Open teams compete at Parkville on Tuesday nights.
🩷11/U–15/U teams attend approximately 6–7 Sunday tournaments throughout the year.

Last week we proudly celebrated our First Nations Round! Thank you to everyone who helped make the round so special, and to Sam Richards from Connecting Two Worlds for the beautiful artwork featured on our bibs and Sean Kinchela for our First Nation’s designed netballs.

Wominjeka (Welcome), to BDNA’s annual First Nation’s round on Saturday, the 18th of July. We come together as an Association for First Nation’s round, to acknowledge and celebrate the amazing contribution to Netball and other sporting codes, made by First Nation’s athletes.

First Nation’s athletes have built a long-standing legacy of sporting excellence, driving broader social change, and community pride. First Nation’s athletes have contributed a lasting impact upon Australian netball at grass roots, Representative, State, and National levels. Sport has been and continues to be, a powerful platform for First Nation’s people to challenge inequality, express culture, and achieve National and International recognition.

All our participating teams will be wearing our specially designed bibs , created by renowned Wurundjeri Woi-Wurrung artist, Sam Richards. Each court will also have a First Nation’s designed netball provided for each match. The design on the netballs has been created by renowned First Nation’s artist, Sean Kinchela, a proud Gamilaroi and Wiradjuri man.
