Big shout out to one of our young super stars Ava Woodward on making the Capricornia 13-14 School Girls team.

Ava is off to Bundaberg in November to play in the QLD Schools Carnival.

Head down, train hard and give it your best Ava. Your Panther family is proud of your achievement.

A massive shoutout to the Glencore Junior Sports Development program in assisting us to repair damages caused at our Training Nets.👏

Our juniors can now hit the upcoming season ready to go. 🏏💪

Congratulations to our own Dean Zeller and Glen Maclean on their selections in the Queensland Masters teams. Good luck to both for their tournaments later in the year.

Word is Paytton had a fat chat with Nathan Lyon (very out of character for her 🤣) offering some advise on the best plan for his batting. Must have worked with him being not at the end of the innings

Some of our girls got to listen to a legend of Australian cricket today, Merv Hughes. He gave some fantastic advice on training and game day practices. Not that they knew who he was 🤣

🏏🏏 Masters Cricket Finals Weekend 🏏🏏

Regular season is now finished with the Pioneer Valley Masters team finishing 2nd behind Walkerston after a 2 run loss in the the last round denying them the Minor Premiership.

Weather permitting the Semi-Final between PV and Vikings will be this Saturday on Harrup Park # 4 for a 1:30pm start. The Grand Final will be this Sunday on Harrup Park # 2 for a 1:30pm start from the winner of the PV game and the 2nd Semi between Walkerston and Norths.

Get down to Harrup Park and support the guys if you can. Good luck team. Don’t forget Lots of Deep Heat and keep your fluids 🍺 up.

🏏🏏 ASSISTANCE REQUIRED 🏏🏏

Looking for assistance from companies to help top dress Mirani Council Reserve beside the Mirani Primary School.

Pioneer Valley Cricket has been successful in obtaining funds to remove and replace the cricket pitch on the oval beside Mirani Primary school which will be carried out over the next month or so. The oval is in terrible condition to the point it is unsafe. We are hoping we can work with a local company to top dress the field for a reduced rate with an offer of club sponsorship or similar. This will benefit both junior sport in the valley as well as support Mirani Primary School sport and their activities.
