🚴‍♂️ THE TRACK IS READY… LET’S GO RACING! 🚴‍♀️

What a day at the track! 💪

Today we:
🧹 Gernied and cleaned
🌱 Mowed and whipper-snipped the track
🌳 Cut back trees
🚻 Cleaned out the toilets
🚲 Checked over all the club bikes
✨ Fitted fresh bar tape
💨 Pumped up tyres
🌭 And finished it all off with a sausage sizzle!

A huge effort to get everything ready for another great season of TRACK RACING! 🙌 Thanks to Luke, Matthew, Shane, Charlie, Craig, and the Marwood’s.

🚴 TRACK TRAINING STARTS AT 4:30pm
Everyone is welcome — all ages and abilities!

If you need to borrow a club bike, please arrive early so we can find the right bike and get you properly fitted before training starts.

We’re ready to go and looking forward to seeing plenty of new and familiar faces at the track.

We’re getting the club track ready for the upcoming track season! 🔥

⏰ 11:00am – 2:00pm

We’ll be checking the condition of the track, carrying out maintenance, cleaning up the surrounding areas and getting everything ready for another big track season! 💪

🌭 SAUSAGE SIZZLE! 🌭
Everyone who comes along and lends a hand will be treated to a sausage sizzle!

Whether you can stay for the full 3 hours or only help out for a little while, any help is massively appreciated. The more hands we have, the quicker we can get the track looking its best! 🙌

Congratulations to Alan McMenamin on winning the Queensland Hill Climb Championship, held at Cooloolabin (Sunshine Coast) on 16 August 2026 — taking the title with a time of 28:56.45 over the 6km course.

A brilliant result and another gold medal added to the club's tally this season. Well done, Alan!🚴
