🏏 **A Difficult Start to Our New Season**

Just as we were getting excited to begin the new cricket season, Lynbrook Cricket Club suffered a devastating setback.

Our curator’s shed was broken into, and approximately **$8,000–$10,000 worth of essential equipment and tools** was stolen, including rollers, mowers and other items used to prepare and maintain our cricket facilities.

A police report has been lodged, and the matter is now under investigation. However, as a volunteer-run community sporting club, replacing this equipment will be extremely difficult and will take considerable time and resources.

Our volunteers work tirelessly to provide a safe and welcoming place for juniors, seniors, girls, women and all-abilities players to enjoy cricket. This loss affects our entire cricket community and our preparations for the upcoming season.

If anyone has information about the break-in, or can assist the club through equipment, services, sponsorship or financial support, please contact us.

We have faced a major setback, but with the support of our members, families, sponsors and the wider community, we are determined to rebuild and make the new season a success.
