We are so incredibly proud to celebrate our very own Amy Hunt who has been awarded the Wally Brown Volunteer of the Year Award!
Presented by PRNA, this award recognises a volunteer who has given tirelessly throughout the year — and we couldn’t think of anyone more deserving than Amy.
Congratulations Amy, we are incredibly lucky to have you as part of our Panthers family!

🌟 Introducing the 2026 PRNA Wally Brown Perpetual Volunteer of the Year Winner – Amy Hunt (Pine Panthers)! 🌟

Amy is the definition of a true community volunteer, dedicating countless hours to netball both on and off the court.

Whether she's coaching, playing, umpiring, mentoring young players and umpires, or stepping in wherever help is needed, Amy consistently gives her time, knowledge and energy to support others. Her willingness to share her experience and encourage those around her makes a lasting impact across our netball community.

What makes Amy's contribution particularly remarkable is the breadth of her involvement. While continuing to represent PRNA as an athlete, Amy also volunteers as a club umpire, grassroots coach, mentor and junior representative coach. Balancing all of these roles requires an enormous commitment, yet Amy continues to give back at every level of the game.

Amy is a wonderful example of what community netball is all about. Through her tireless contribution, leadership and genuine willingness to help others, she truly embodies the spirit of volunteering at PRNA.

While the results weren’t quite what we were hoping for, we couldn’t be prouder of the grit, determination and fight you all showed right until the final whistle.

Unfortunately, Team Weston were knocked out after a late comeback just wasn’t enough. You fought so hard right to the end — we’re so proud of you!

Team Simpson had a thrilling win and are through to the Preliminary Final this Saturday!

Team Perry had an exciting win and are straight through to the Grand Final! Congratulations, Team! 👏

Geitz fought hard for the win and are through to the next round of finals! 🔥
