It is with heavy hearts World Rowing mourns the passing of Olaf Tufte of Norway, 4x Olympic medallist and 6x World Championship medallist.
A fierce competitor on the water, and a great friend to everyone off of it, Olaf was also a recipient of the Thomas Keller Medal, the highest distinction in the sport.
Our hearts go out to Olaf’s family, the Norwegian Rowing Federation, and the entire rowing community.
