Our girls program is back too! This season we’ll be running our Female Academy every second Saturday (next session 29/8 from 9am), bringing together players from across our junior and senior programs for extra skills, development and plenty of cricket.

New players are always welcome — no experience needed, just come along and give it a go!

🏏2026/27 COACHING & PRE-SEASON🏏

SLCC is thrilled to introduce you to our 2026/27 Senior Coaching team and announce our pre-season training schedule - kicking off next week👌

Director Of Coaching & 4th Grade Coach - Jimmy Lee will be leading the charge once again from a coaching perspective. Recommtting to the Director Of Coaching & 4th Grade coaching roles. Jimmy will continue his great work organising training & coaching plans for all grades, along with setting the cultural tone around our cricket department!

1st & 2nd Grade Men's Coach - Nigel Page steps into a dual role, looking after both 1st & 2nd Grade Men's teams. With excellent depth and some exciting young prospects coming through those grades at the moment, combining their coaching promises to be beneficial to all players. Nigel brings a wealth of experience and a very familiar face to the role.

1st Grade Women's Coach - Life Member & proven coach Dean Hawkins returns to the club as our 1st Grade Women's Coach. Hawk will continue to build on the great foundations of development from last season, and will be ably assisted by 2025/26 Women's Coach Chay Moir. We look forward to an exciting season ahead for our Women's team.

3rd Grade Coach - Andrew Arnott remains at the helm of our 3rd Grade team. Having Captain/Coached our team to the last two premierships, we look forward to seeing continued player development and some fantastic results under Andrew's expert guidance.

Senior pre-season training kicks off Monday night at the NTCA indoor nets at 7pm. All new and returning players very welcome!

Monday nights 7 - 8.30pm (main session)
Sunday afternoons 3.30 - 5pm (skills session)
*starting Monday 3rd August.

SLCC has another national selection to celebrate!

Congrats to Levi Springer who has been selected in the Australian U18 Boys Indoor Cricket Squad.

This selection comes after Levi was awarded runner-up player of the tournament at the recent National Championships!

The Australian U18 team head to South Africa in September, for matches against other Indoor Cricket powerhouse nations in the World Series👌👌

We are immensely proud to announce the selection of Levi Springer in the Under 18 Boys Australian Squad.
Levi performed amazingly during ICNC 2026, named Runner-up Player of the Tournament.
The junior sides will travel to Pretoria in September to contest the World Series against the leading indoor cricket nations, continuing Australia’s long record at junior level and giving Levi and his teammates their first taste of representing their country abroad.
Please join us in celebrating this amazing Tiger!
