Tim Blair Run For Kids Foundation - 2026 Ride We're back for our annual ride raising money for kids in need.

And so it is with a heavy heart but also with a great deal of relief , given my winter fitness condition, that I wish to inform you that the Daltini Randonnee will not be happening this year. 💔

Apparently Nick and Matt have other plans this winter, heading off on sunny European vacations to sip Aperol Spritz , nibble on pain au chocolat and pose for instagram photos in their budgie smugglers .

I will be blocking them from all social media and secretly hoping they both come back fat and unfit.

So please relax, don’t stress about that miserable winter training and have a couple of extra tim tams on the couch while you watch Le Tour.

All going well and if there is enough interest, I reckon we will have a crack at putting the ride back on again next year.

A huge thankyou once again to everyone who has been involved so far . We really appreciate it .

Of course, the official Tasmania Police Charity Ride will still be going ahead in November.

This year is the 20th edition. In 2007 we held our very first event to raise funds for Down Syndrome Tasmania and we will be doing it for them again this year.

So, while those other jet setting posers are busy strutting their stuff in Europe with the beautiful people, I will be here, training hard to get ready for November.

What an incredible effort! 🚴‍♂️💛 Huge thanks to Tasmania Police Charity Trust for fundraising $43,000 for Cancer Council Tasmania from their recent charity bike ride (with another $43,000 going to SPEAK UP Stay ChatTY)!

82 riders. 400km. $86,000 raised! Thank you to everyone who rode, donated and showed their support, we’re so grateful. Your generosity helps us make a real difference in our community.

Sorry it’s been a while .

Took some time to recover from the post ride beers with Matt, Tim, dale and Chinna 😅

The other reason for the delay in communications is because as we all know, it can take a while for a tradie to turn up but, after months of me nagging and him finally sorting through the wads of cash in his glovebox, Matt has finally crunched the numbers…..

Thats how much you all helped raise for our ride this year. A brilliant achievement . 🙏

The official 3 day police charity ride will be happening at the end of November and our funds will combine with other participants to make donations to Cancer Council and Speak Up Stay ChatTy.
