Updated brochure for Club.

Beautiful sunny clear day up at the piste. Members enjoyed a game & a barbecue/picnic at the monthly event. Save the first Sunday of the month (weather permitting) & come along & enjoy a game & socialising.

Recent upgrades at the club including 10 new pistes. We are on schedule to have everything ready for the Transplant Games in September.

Our club in conjunction with Bayside Boules Hobart will be holding the Petanque Competition in Launceston. Save the dates and come along and support our sport.

First Doubles Comp today for the 2026_2027 Season. Two timed games played.

Plenty of good throws, come backs & high Delta.

Next end of month Club Comp will be singles.

Thank you to all our members who bought along friends & family to try Petanque & enjoy the Sausage sizzle.

Both Louise & Venie mastered the barbecue & cooked the sausages to perfection. Glenys chopped the onions with a few tears shed.

Jude & Glenys coached & demonstrated the various throwing techniques & arranged the games for the visitors.

All in all a good turnout with plenty of interest. We look forward to hopefully welcoming some new members.

Annual Awards night was held with the Trevallyn Bowls Club on Friday night at the clubhouse.

Awards for Player of the Year went to Andrew Brunsmann & Best New Player Award to Beverley Debono.

Doubles Champion was won by Judy Brennan with runner up Stephanie Roach followed by Andrew Brunsmann.

Singles Champion was won by Glenys Pethick with runner up Louise McKenna followed by Carlene Death

Thank you to the TBC for organising the evening it was a great success.

Good Friday Competition was won this year by Francesca & Andrew with runner ups Judy & Glenys. Congratulations to all & a big thankyou to all the teams who participated.

The club is gearing up for the National Transplant Games being held in Launceston in September with our club hosting the Petanque Games at our pistes.

Completion of the additional pistes will be completed at the end of this month increasing the number of pistes to 14.

Also we're always looking to promote the game & increase our membership so if you are interested in trying Petanque come along Wednesdays &/or Fridays at 10am & give it a try for free.

Secretary Judy & President Jennie attended the launch of the Transplant Games to be held here in Launceston end of September 2026. Exciting future announcements to come.

Members & guests gathered at the piste for our Sunset Boules & barbecue. Considering the morning weather the afternoon was lovely & everyone enjoyed a game as well as some lovely food provided by the club & committee.

We had 5 members from the Trevallyn Bowls Club who came along to support us & have a game as well as some barbecue. We appreciate their ongoing support.
