With a spot in the Grand Final on the line, there’s plenty to play for!

A huge congratulations to our players, and a massive thank you to our coaches, managers and trainers for their time, commitment and dedication all season to get our teams to this point!

The final Sydney Polishing Co Player of the Week for the 2026 regular season goes to big Joeli Vulavou 🙌

The Vulavou name carries immense power at Blueys and Joeli was certainly living up to brother Aparama’s legacy with the weekend’s barnstorming performance.

An absolute wrecking ball on Saturday for Firsts last run of the year, Joeli stormed over for one meaty and laid the good work with powerful carries for many more in the 50 point win.

Huge and mobile, the big fella is one of those players where you think “thank God he’s with us!”

Congrats Joeli and all the other lads who ripped in on a huge BTL 💙

After a HUGE success last year, our fundraiser night is back Thursday 22nd October from 6pm at the Trots!

After another HUGE season of junior rugby, it’s time for us parents to celebrate surviving another year of early mornings, training, canteen & BBQ duty and cheering from the sidelines!

Think cocktail-style food, drinks, raffles galore, a silent auction and plenty of laughs with your rugby crew.

Last year, the funds raised allowed us to provide FREE playing kits to all our players and with increased registrations this year, we’re hoping to make this year even bigger!

Half the Club is heading to Finals 🫡

NSW Suburban Rugby Union Division 1 Semi Finals are a fortnight away for our three qualified sides. Seconds and Colts play at Drummoyne’s Taplin Park while Fifths are at Boronia at a yet to be announced time.

All teams play from outside the top two in make-or-break matches to keep a successful 2026 going strong!

A Back to Lappo special 😌

The lads wrapped up the regular season in a big game with 4/5 competition wins and a very passionate Old Boys game jam-packed with old school violence.

The Matt Childs Invitational and Opie’s Old Boys sides featured some legendary recently retired Mountain Men who paid tribute to two very special blokes from Blueys.

Fourths ended the year on a high while Thirds went down in a close for big Sammy Ingram’s 100th.

The weather couldn’t keep spirits down and when the rain subsided after midday the Goat Track hill filled out for a strong end to the day.

Colts won ugly and Seconds booked their spot in the 2026 Burke Cup Finals series. Firsts put on a clinic for the Mountain Goat faithful and finally get to rest after a huge 4 years changing the landscape of Subbies Rugby.

It was a pleasure facing Drummoyne Dirty Reds for our big day who kept our boys honest all day.
