Lane Cove JRU is one of the 8 Village Clubs that comprise the Gordon District and offers boys and girls the opportunity to play rugby from U5 through to U16. All players must wear the 2025/2026 singlet to play in a Summer 7s match. We updated the singlet last year to include the names of the current sponsors. 💙💛💙💛
Everyone registered will get an email notification when singlets are available for purchase for $20 on 2REDS SPORTS APPAREL website. Once ordered they’ll be delivered via Aus Post prior to round 1.
Even better if you already have a singlet from last year, ready to go! 👏👏

To keep Summer 7s fun and competitive for everyone, organisers may also adjust teams or divisions where needed. Team Managers will be kept informed of allocations and any changes affecting their team.

What a fantastic Sunday of Minis rugby and team spirit! 🏉
Our U7 Gold and Blue boys joined forces on Sunday for two games, starting with Lindfield. With Lindfield short on numbers, four of our boys proudly pulled on Lindfield jerseys to make sure everyone got a game.
A huge thank you to all the boys who stepped up and helped out. It was a brilliant example of what Minis rugby is all about: mates helping mates and making sure everyone gets to play. 👏
Then the joint team had a tough battle against Wakehurst on a very muddy field! 🌧️🏉 We faced some of our strongest opposition yet, with Wakehurst’s talented runners testing our defence. The boys responded brilliantly, lifting their defensive effort and producing an inspired second half full of determination and teamwork.

💙💛💙💛SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT 💛💙💛💙
LCJRU is delighted to host Muggera Cultural Enterprise at Tantallon this Sunday, 16 August at 1:00pm, to deliver a traditional smoking ceremony and Acknowledgement of Cammeraygal Country. Smoking ceremonies have traditionally been used to cleanse, ward off bad spirits, and welcome visitors.
For LCJRU this presents as an opportunity to acknowledge the traditional land we play on and the First Nations families within our playing group. Everyone is welcome at LCJRU, and we hope to see all club members, family, and friends for this special cultural event on Sunday.
