Parkside Golden Boys FC

Hi Everyone...

It's been a while posting on here, how is everyone going?

Some may know a group of us have been working over the last 4-5 years to restart the Keon Park Football & Netball Club .

While we have been playing Netball, T20 cricket & Lawn Bowls over the last few years, we haven't had any AFL Football.

We are very close to getting an All Abilities FIDA team started for the 2024 season based in Preston.

Would any past Parkside Golden Boys FC be interested in helping out with roles we need filled?

Water Boys
Runner
Trainer
Coaching
Canteen/Bar
Time Keeper
Scoreboard Attendant

Will be one training evening a week & a game every 2-3 weeks...

This is all about teaching and having fun and being back in a club environment.

It's with a heavy heart that we hear that our Parkside and Golden Boy Brother Kyle Di Salle has passed away in his yesterday..

Kyle was definitely a character and a pleasure to coach and play with.
He always gave his best and actually had a thumping kick on him.
He was told he shouldn't play footy because of his neck issues but he proved them wrong and played a lot of footy.

Our condolences and love go out to the amazing Sash and the family 💚💚💚

Another brother has fallen but never forgotten.

Raise a glass and whisper your goodbyes to a great bloke and teammate.
