Squat and bench testing session for Ebony !
Squat 132.5kg (+15kg pb),
Bench 77.5kg (+7.5kg pb).

Sticking to her natural bodyweight, and working on positioning has worked leaps and gains this program!
Now we work towards the Bristow Open!

Great result from Amanda’s first testing session after her first 12 week program with me!

Squat 127.5kg
Bench 67.5kg
Deadlift 142.5kg

Now on to comp prep!

17/11/2022

testing results:

Squat 67.5kg (+5kg PB)
Bench 40.5kg (+0.5kg PB)
Trap bar deadlift 90kg (+2.5kg over conventional PB)

Since comp Rora has been treating some back pain with the help of . Who managed to link it back to an old foot injury.
We also found that a wider stance in squat helps her keep her core engage.

Trap bar deadlift has been a good substitute for conventional deadlift, while the back pain sub sides.

In to comp prep next week!

95kg squat pb for .
5kg above what she has done before, and much deeper! 👏

Great result from !
This program, he switched to sumo, because I was nicer on his hips, and technically worked better for him.
He ended up beating his conventional deadlift result from comp by 5kg, getting 255kg sumo! (Looked like he could have had at least another 10kg on there)
Only up from here!

Amazing work to our resident hot mumma !

8 months postpartum, and she’s hit a 100kg full squat (equal to her previous above parallel squat to a box),
a 60kg bench with comp calls (only 2.5kg below her touch and go pb),
and a 125kg deadlift (5kg better than last round of testing 11 weeks ago) 👏 👏 👏

Now we comp prep! 🔥

Well done to for her 9/9 performance at the 2022 Open Classic National Championships 👏

Squat 150kg ✅ 157.5kg ✅ 162.5kg ✅ +7.5kg pb
Bench 62.5kg ✅ 67.5kg ✅ 70kg ✅ +2.5kg pb
Deadlift 157.5kg ✅ 167.5kg ✅ 172.5kg ✅ +2.5kg pb
Total 405kg +15kg pb and 7th place

All huge achievements and huge numbers, especially for someone who has been competing for only 10 month. Big future in the sport for this lady!

We’re very proud!

2022 Classic Open Nationals - coach Courtney:
Squat 145kg ✅ 155kg 😒❌ 157.5kg ✅ +5kg pb
Bench 75kg ✅ 80kg ✅ 82.5kg ❌ +2.5kg pb
Deadlift 165kg ✅ 175kg ✅ 180kg ❌
Total 412.5kg for a 12.5kg pb & 4th place in the U/76kg division.

Pretty stoked with these results. Certain things happened that contributed to the missed lifts, but all of us copped the same thing. So no harm!
I’ve pbd my total for the first time since 2018, and my deadlift is back up near its best for the first time since injuring my back.
A big thanks to for that. The programming, and technique coaching has been vital for this comeback! You’re a wizard Harry! Keen to see what we can do in the future!

Thank you for coaching and I today. You always know just how to handle us.
Great sportsmanship from who had to compete against her coach again 😂

I appreciate the and everyone else at home cheering us on, and sending their bests!

Thanks for the event. The competition just gets better and better every year! (Minus the collate 😂).

Thanks & for holding my body together!

This was my third National Championship this year. Pretty cool achievement. Watch this space for what I’ve got coming up next 🥊 there’s a new adventure in the midst!

Few of you might have noticed that our English Muffin has had some equipped lifting added to her training. Might seem a little strange in the final block for Classic Nationals next weekend…
But there is a higher purpose!
Jo has been officially invited to compete for Australia in the U/76kg division, on the 27th of November at the Commonwealth Championships! This is an amazing achievement, having not even been competing for a full year yet!

With being so close to Nationals, Jo will have to take her deload next week, and then train through to Commonwealth after competing. It’s a hard task, but we know that she is tough, and can handle it!

Best of luck to Jo for next weekends Nationals.
We are very proud of our squat 👸 and will be running a fund raising event in the future!
Keep your eyes peeled 👀 it’ll be a fantastic soirée!
