A quick reminder that registrations for the Gerroa Longboard SUP Classic are OPEN, and it’s time to get you name down for one of the best Stand Up Paddle events on the south coast!

We are looking to lock in tee shirt orders and finalise the details by 14 Sept, so don’t dilly dally…. There are plenty of spots in all divisions….

If you are travelling in from out of town, there are several accomodation options.

The prime spot is the Seven Mile Beach Holiday Park, located adjacent to the main competition area. There are sites and cabins available and it’s a crackin nice little park as well.

Just across the river is the Discovery Park - Gerroa with powered sites and nice looking cabins. Only a short walk to the beach.

If all else fails, there is another large caravan park at Gerringong which is a sister site to the Seven Mile Beach Park. Across the road from our back up location of Werri Beach and only a 5 min drive the Gerroa. The township of Gerringong has plenty of shops and cafes… including some of our awesome sponsors!!

Hey Crew…. Time to renew your Club membership for the 26-27 Season, or jump in and join the Club as a new member. If you paddle or SUP surf at any level, we would be stoked to have you join us for a season of fun and great SUP stoke!! If you are new to SUP, we have a ton of experienced paddlers who can help guide and improve your SUP skills… if you are an old hand at throwing a SUP around, you will get plenty of support and stoke from the crew.

Hopefully you will have seen the Club Calendar for the next season which has all the seasons key events, with a slightly different theme compared to previous seasons.

We still have a few competitive surf events planned…. But based on the members feedback, most monthly surf events will now be based on a free surf and BBQ style so we can do more of the fun stuff!! We may also mix up the locations a bit for something to do…. but we will still be based out of Warilla.

Flat water paddling will take on more of a touring vibe, with all our members welcome to join in for a bit of river cruising. If you are feeling a bit frisky…. those that are keen can always go for a bit of a sq**rt!

Our biggest change this year is the introduction of an Inter-club Challenge with our mates from the Central Coast SUP Club. Details are still being confirmed, but basically, we will head up to the Central Coast for a weekend and whip their butts…. And then they will head down here and we will whip their butts! 😂 Guaranteed good time for sure!!

The link for Club Registration is below and all members will receive a Club Tee as part of the membership fee. Those wishing to surf must select the Competing Member option, which includes the SNSW/SA membership and personal injury insurance (full details on the SNSW website).

The Committee are stoked to be getting the 26-27 Season kicked off….. we can’t wait to catch you all at the beach! And hey… spread the word and bring a friend!
