$1.1 million for Gold Coast Squash Centre Renewal

Many of you may remember that in December 2024, the City acquired the Gold Coast Squash Centre in Labrador, creating future opportunities to enhance community facilities and public spaces in the heart of Division 7.

This year’s City Budget includes $1.1 million to renew the Gold Coast Squash Centre, ensuring the facility remains safe, functional and fit for purpose as it continues to welcome players of all ages and abilities.

As community facilities get older, ongoing investment is essential to keep them operating at their best. Projects like this aren’t just about maintaining buildings - they’re about supporting active lifestyles, encouraging participation in sport, and ensuring our community has quality places to connect and stay healthy.
