The girls have worked incredibly hard all season and have already ticked off one major goal - being crowned PREMIERS! 🏆🧡

Now, with the Premiership secured, the girls have their sights firmly set on going all the way and earning their place in the Grand Final. 🧡🔥

🧡 FQPL3 WOMEN | SEMI FINAL RESULT 🧡

What a fight from our FQPL3 Women on Friday night! 🔥

Hosting Surfers Paradise at Keith Hunt Park, the girls went into the half-time break 0-2 down. A big half-time pep talk saw the team come back out determined to fight their way back into the contest.

Mel made some crucial saves, while our defense continued to push through injuries, alongside a recovering Jayde, who was determined to make an impact.

And impact she did! 🧡

Following a first-time interception from Chanelle, Jayde found herself with the time and space to take a shot from distance and find the back of the net... 1-2!

From there, the Mussie girls were hungry.

A beautifully worked one-two between Ursula and Charlotte created an opportunity for Char to shoot. After the keeper's save deflected into the box, Ursula pounced, twirling onto the ball and striking it with power to level the game at 2-2! 🔥

With the end of the game approaching, Surfers Paradise found a late goal to make it 2-3 at the final whistle.

While the result wasn't what we wanted, the fight, determination and never-say-die attitude from this group was incredible. 🧡

As our 2026 Premiers, the girls have earned a second chance in this year's finals series and will now face a Preliminary Final this Friday, with a place in the Grand Final still within reach.

Tonight, our FQPL3 Women step into the finals with a huge SEMI FINAL clash against Surfers Paradise Apollo Soccer Club - and they’re doing it under the lights at home! 🏆🔥

After an outstanding regular season, the girls were crowned 2026 PREMIERS, securing back-to-back league titles and an incredible FIVE league championships since 2020.

But the Premiership is only part of the story.

The girls have put in the work all season. They’ve battled through every challenge, continued to push each other and shown the consistency, determination and belief that has brought them to this point.

Now the finals campaign begins.

Tonight’s result could see the girls book their place directly in the Grand Final - and they’ll be leaving everything on the pitch to make that happen. 🧡

That’s a wrap on the 2026 season for our FQPL3 Men.

The squad travelled to Sid Bigg Park last weekend for their final games against Mudgeeraba, facing two quality opposition teams.

While the results didn’t go our way, both teams fought until the final whistle and were unfortunate not to find the back of the net. The effort and resilience shown right through to the end is something the club is incredibly proud of. 🧡

🧡 KEITH HUNT MEMORIAL CARNIVAL 2026 | THANK YOU! 🧡

What a day!

After starting in 1983, the prestigious Keith Hunt Memorial Carnival was put on hold for several years around 2020 before making its much-anticipated return last year. We’re thrilled to see this special event back on the calendar and now returning as an annual Musgrave tradition! 🧡

This year brought a unique format, with combined club teams made up of U9, U11 & U13 players from:

Burleigh Heads Football Club • Mudgeeraba Soccer Club • Musgrave FC • Ormeau Football Club • Palm Beach Soccer Club • Robina City Soccer Club Inc. • Southport Soccer Club • Tweed United FootballClub

Rather than individual age-group or club winners, players joined together across four mixed 'Clubs' - Metcalfe, Fowler, Carpenter & Souttar. The focus of this format was to support teams that would normally be your opposition, with the common goal, to compete for the title of Carnival Club Development CHAMPIONS.

It was fantastic to see both girls and boys involved for the second time, with incredible energy, enthusiasm and sportsmanship throughout the day. The carnival was everything it should be - players enjoying their football, developing their skills, supporting one another and creating memories along the way. 🧡

A huge thank you to all the clubs who accepted our invitation and helped make the return of the carnival so special.

What a fantastic effort from our Div 3 Women to make it all the way to the semi finals. 🧡

The girls travelled away to face Kingscliff on foreign soil, ready to leave it all out on the pitch.

It was a hard-fought contest from start to finish, with both sides creating opportunities. Our girls came so close on several occasions, with some fantastic team-built lead-ups creating chances that unfortunately just wouldn’t fall our way.

At half time, the score remained locked at:

KINGSCLIFF 0–0 MUSGRAVE

The girls regrouped, talked through what they needed to do and headed back out for the second half determined to give it everything.

And they did exactly that.

It was a difficult pill to swallow when Kingscliff found the back of the net with just five minutes remaining, leaving the final score:

A heartbreaking way to end the campaign, but there is so much to be proud of.

To make it to the semi finals is a fantastic achievement, and every player, coach and supporter involved should be incredibly proud of what this team has accomplished.

What a week it has been for our QPL3 Women!

🔥 TUESDAY | PACIFIC PINES

The girls travelled to Pacific Pines and put on a dominant performance, taking a 2-0 lead into half time thanks to a brace from Charlotte.

The second half saw the goals keep coming, with Jayde getting her name on the scoresheet before Charlotte completed her hat-trick.

Belle added a brace of her own, while Ursula and Chinara also found the back of the net to complete an emphatic:

The vital three points officially sealed the Premiership title with a game still in hand. 🏆

🏠 FRIDAY | BROADBEACH

The girls returned home for their final regular-season game, hosting Broadbeach.

Despite creating opportunities, the girls were unlucky not to finish their chances. With some sore bodies following Tuesday's big performance and an outstanding display from the Broadbeach goalkeeper, the visitors took the points with a 0-2 result.

Not the way we wanted to finish the regular season, but the bigger picture is something to be incredibly proud of.
