We are supporting all these events , going to be a great season ahead

The 2026-27 sailing season is almost here! We are looking forward to an incredible season. Our first event, Wildcat, is going to be another epic regatta - its a highlight of the season and a perfect way to get back into sailing, so if you have not been to Great Lakes Sailing Club before - it is well worth the trip, a perfect combination of sailing, socialising, beers watching the sunsets and easy camping! If you come every year, we look forward to seeing you back again in October! QLD Formula 18 Sailing and Australian Formula 18 Association - we always love having our interstate friends join this event! Other highlights this year include the Nationals back on NSW soil, at Mannering Park Sailing Club, a regular host of the Traveller Series which will be a great event! Get your practice in at their Big Cat regatta in December. This year, our State titles will be at the Darren Lowder Memorial Regatta, and we ask as many of you to turn up as possible, for the 30th Anniversary of Darren's passing and what is likely to be the last of these regattas for a while, so let's make it a great event! Lastly, we are going to try and support some more clubs to host F18s and to have some fun events while we are at it - we know how much many of you love a marathon, or a raid, and we want to add some fun, while keeping all the events you love and the close competitive racing at our main events.
