My heart is singing. 🥹❤️
I absolutely LOVE it when a story has a happy ending.
For the last four days, a lovely lady had been messaging me about my reformer. Every day she was going to come and collect it… and today she messaged to ask, “Does it fold up?”
Me: “No, sorry! It’s a commercial reformer.”
Then came the heartbreaking message: “It won’t fit in the room.” 😭
She even sent me a photo of the room, and sadly… she was right. It just wasn’t going to fit.
I honestly didn’t even know what to say. I was heartbroken for her — but at the same time, I really don’t have the space to keep storing a third reformer. I only want the two I use in the studio.
And then, completely out of nowhere…
A man called Stephen messages me:
“Can I pick your reformer up in 20 minutes?”
Ummm… YES! 😂
And then I discovered Stephen was Lara’s dad!
Fast forward to today, and Lara has sent me a photo of her brand-new reformer sitting perfectly in her little home reformer studio. 🥹
She told me she was crying with happiness and felt like a kid at Christmas. 🎄❤️
And honestly… that made my day.
Sometimes things really do work out exactly as they’re meant to.
The reformer has found its new home, Lara is over the moon, Stephen is apparently the fastest reformer transporter in the Southern Hemisphere 😂… and I have my two reformers back in my studio where they belong.
Happy endings. ❤️

Bespoke Pilates
What is your life about? Surfing, dancing, your job, maybe you’re a runner or just love lifting weights? This is where Pilates will compliment your lifestyle.
Whatever your life is about you’ll want your body to keep up. https://bespokepilates.au
Consistency is the beginning. Progression is where the magic happens.
So, you’re consistently coming to Pilates.
You’re showing up, you’re practising, your body is learning.
So how do we progress?
We repeat — but we don’t simply repeat the same thing forever.
We might vary an exercise slightly. We might increase the repetitions, the resistance, the complexity or the challenge.
With a TheraBand, we might start with yellow, progress to green, and eventually to black.
With bodyweight exercises, we may begin with fewer repetitions, gradually increase the volume, then introduce a small weight.
On the reformer, we can increase the springs to create more resistance — or sometimes decrease the springs, taking away support and asking your body to work harder to control the movement.
And in a one-to-one session, we have even more possibilities. We might begin with the Wunda Chair, then progress to the Cadillac as your strength, control and confidence develop.
But progression shouldn’t mean pushing harder just for the sake of it.
Working slowly and progressively allows us to uncover the little things your body might be struggling with.
A muscle that isn’t quite doing its job.
A movement that feels less controlled on one side.
A joint that needs a little more support.
A pattern your body has been compensating for.
We can address those things as they appear — rather than pushing through and potentially creating new problems.
That’s the beauty of Pilates.
We don’t just make an exercise harder.
We make you more capable of doing it.
Consistency gives us the foundation.
Progression builds the strength, control and confidence.
And over weeks, months and years, those small increases add up to a body that moves better, works better and feels stronger. 🤍

Once a week makes a difference.
Twice a week changes the game.
Do Pilates once a week and you’ll feel the benefits.
But do it twice a week and something else starts to happen.
It’s not simply twice the Pilates and twice the result.
Because your body remembers.
Your technique improves faster.
Your movements become more instinctive.
Your mind gets better at connecting to your body.
And those muscles that really didn’t want to join the party?
First, they switch on.
Then they start doing their job.
Then they get stronger.
The second session builds on the first instead of starting again.
And if you’re doing Pilates three times a week? That repetition really starts to show — in your strength, your control, your posture and the way you move outside the studio.
Pilates is a practice.
And like anything worth learning, consistency is where the magic happens.
Once a week is good.
Twice a week is better.
Three times a week?
That’s when your body really starts to understand what you’ve been asking it to do.

What would you like your body to do better?
A back that doesn’t complain every time you move?
Shoulders that feel less tight and restricted?
A stronger tummy and better posture?
A pelvic floor you can actually rely on?
Better balance and stronger bones?
Or maybe you’d just like to move, breathe and feel a little better in yourself.
Pilates can help.
It’s not about being flexible.
It’s not about being “good at Pilates”.
And you definitely don’t need to be fit before you start.
It’s about building a body that feels stronger, more supported and more capable in everyday life.
I’ve had a couple of spaces become available in my small-group classes:
• Monday 10am — Mat Pilates
• Wednesday 9am — Mat Pilates
• Friday 10am — Bone Building
Classes are kept small, so you’re not disappearing into a room full of people.
You’ll just need a thick exercise mat and Pilates grip socks.
If your body has been quietly telling you it needs a little more attention, perhaps this is your sign. 🖤

Hey everyone! A little Reformer opportunity… 🤍
I’ve recently upgraded one of my Reformers to the newest model, which means one of you lucky people now has the chance to buy the slightly older one of my two machines!
And when I say “older”, this is still a proper professional-quality Align Pilates Reformer — not one of the cheaper home-use copies. To buy a Reformer of this standard new, you’re looking at around $5,500–$6,000.
It’s had moderate use, has been really well looked after and is still in great condition.
It comes with 5 lovely firm springs:
• 1 green – 1.5 resistance
• 2 red – 1.0 resistance
• 2 blue – 0.5 resistance
The ropes are in excellent condition, I’ve freshly washed the handles, and they have two loop sizes — smaller for your hands and larger for your feet.
It also comes with its original lightweight box, which is a really clever open-sided design. It’s much easier to lift than a traditional box and can even be hung up when you’re not using it.
And, of course, if you buy it from me, I’m very happy to show you how to set everything up and use it properly.
The best endorsement I can probably give this machine is that I’ve upgraded to the newer version of the same Reformer. I wouldn’t have bought another one if I didn’t think they were fantastic!
So, if you’ve ever fancied having your own proper Reformer at home, or you know someone who has, send me a message. I’m very happy to answer any questions. 🤍

After an incredible few days away, I’m back in the studio… and it feels good to be home.
As much as I loved slowing down, soaking up the sunshine and enjoying some much-needed time away, I was reminded of something important.
Looking after our bodies isn’t about perfection. It isn’t about one workout, one healthy meal or one holiday.
It’s about consistency.
The little things we do every day—moving well, building strength, improving balance, breathing deeply and making time for ourselves—are what keep us feeling capable for all the adventures life throws our way.
I’m feeling refreshed, recharged and genuinely excited to be back doing what I love: helping people move with more confidence, strength and freedom.
To all my lovely clients… thank you for keeping the studio ticking over while I was away. I can’t wait to see you all this week.
Here’s to getting back into a routine—one movement at a time. 🤍
Wow!
What an amazing week!
Back in the studio tomorrow, can’t wait to see you all 🖤🖤🖤
