The Sydney Flying Squadron was formed in 1891, by Mark Foy, to race 18' Skiffs on Sydney Harbour.

The SFS fleet of replica skiffs (1900's-1950's) race from October to March on Saturday's with a Christmas break. Sydney Flying Squadron, Australia's oldest open boat sailing club, founded in 1891. Facilities include a boatshed, wharf, balcony, bar and Foys Kirribilli Restaurant.
