WAGS proudly sponsored by Dirty Boat Bottoms.
Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t ideal for sailing, with very lights winds making for challenging conditions. The race was eventually abandoned.
A small group of members still made the most of the afternoon, gathering at the clubhouse after the race for some good company and a catch-up.

A small group of keen skippers headed out to compete in the Single Handed Rce. The weather gods were very nice and put on a spectacular day for the event with sunny skies and winds around 8 to knots. Summer Breeze got a good start and led the fleet away but was soon passed by the bigger boats, Against All Odds and Huon Star who had a great battle all the way around the course, closely followed by Full Bore. Against All Odds took line honours but had to settle for second place on corrected times with Summer Breeze taking out first place and Huon Star third.

SAGS proudly sponsored by Sea Salt & Vine. Not a perfect day for sailing with cloudy skies, light winds and flat seas. Despite a good fleet taking to the water, the race was abandoned when the light winds abated entirely. A good group convened back at the clubhouse.
Congratulations to Jane winner of the Sea Salt & Vine voucher.

Turned out to be lovely day for a race..plenty of wind interspersed with challenging lighter wind. Not a drop of rain anywhere but lumpy seas made for an interesting race.
Wings passed Infinity on last leg to take first place.
Good gathering back at the clubhouse after the race.

🍛 NCYC Annual Curry Night 🍛
Our annual Curry Night was held last night, and while we had a smaller group than last year, everyone enjoyed a fantastic evening of delicious food and great company.
A huge thank you to our wonderful curry cooks Jane, Gwen, Deb, Hugh, Pauline and Maxine for preparing such a fabulous selection of curries. And a special thank you to Gerardine for the delicious rice!
Your time and effort are very much appreciated and helped make the evening such an enjoyable one.
Thank you to everyone who came along and supported the event — we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!
