CrossFit COAH

Most mornings, if I’m not sitting and praying before our doors open, you’ll find me pacing around our common space and gym, praying over this place and, most importantly, over our members.

Before each day begins at COAH, we’ve already prayed over you, your families, your circumstances and especially for the Holy Spirit to move in and through your day, your life in a powerful way, regardless if you train at the morning classes, open gyms, you’re a drop in or train at any of our afternoon classes.

COAH has always been a place where we can freely express the love and power of Jesus. We’re blessed to have members who love the Lord and aren’t ashamed to let Jesus be known.

We’re also incredibly grateful for the many people in our community who don’t share our faith, yet still choose to call COAH their home 🩵

I know many people have been hurt by religion and specifically people who were supposed to represent Christ. For us, we hope that all who walk through our doors experience the tangible love and presences of God and are empowered to know this God we freely choose to worship 😍

We’re not perfect and a lot of the times we get things wrong and make mistakes.

And as much as we may have been hurt by people who claimed to represent God / Jesus, we know that God Himself was never the one hurting you / us ❤️‍🩹

So we thank Him and praise Him because He is perfect. His love triumphs over our mistakes, our failures and our wrongdoing, and His grace ultimately leads us into a life of righteousness and fruitfulness. We’e not religious fanatics lol, we just love Jesus, we love people and we love fitness 😁

If you take one thing away from this post, we hope its this:

Jesus loves you so much that He laid down His life on the cross for you, so that in Him you may receive eternal life.

The enemy will condemn you out of a relationship with God, but the Holy Spirit will convict you out of the grip of satan❤️‍🔥

Introducing one of our youngest teams to enter Tribe Games 🔥

Mabel Park State High School have put together a team to compete in their very first competition, led by our very own Coach Sam Asiata.

We wanted to give you a little insight into some of the students taking part and what this experience means to them.

It’s awesome seeing our sport making its way into schools, but even better seeing these young ones getting involved for something bigger than just competition.

We love the work our school chaplains are doing and the impact they have on the lives of young people every day.

This is what Tribe Games is all about. Using fitness as a platform to create a positive impact beyond the competition floor.

Tribe Games has always been more than a competition.

From the start, the vision has been to use fitness as a platform to create a lasting impact beyond the competition floor. That’s why we’re proud to partner with SU Australia and support the important work of local chaplains.

School chaplains provide care, encouragement and a safe space for young people navigating life’s challenges. They are a lighthouse within the school community, offering guidance, counsel and support when young people need it most. Their presence provides connection and accountability that can have a lasting impact on the lives of students.

When you register, volunteer, sponsor or simply show up to cheer, you’re helping contribute to something bigger than the competition itself.

We invite you to come along and fellowship with us as we worship, hear an encouraging message of hope, love and redemption, before we break off to talanoa (chat) and pray for one another.

Lastly, we’ll close off our fellowship with a workout to end a powerful morning 🙌

You don’t have to be a Christian to attend. We welcome all :)
