Chelsea & District Netball Association

Squad Trials at Chelsea & District Netball Association are the selection process for players wishing to be considered for our Representative (Squad) Program.

Trials give players the opportunity to demonstrate their netball skills, game awareness, teamwork, athletic ability and attitude in front of a panel of selectors. Players participate in a range of skills, drills and match-play activities and may be assessed across more than one position.

The aim of the trial process is to select balanced teams while also identifying players who demonstrate potential for continued development within the representative pathway.

For 2027, CDNA will conduct trials for 11 & Under, 13 & Under, 15 & Under and 17 & Under age groups. Players are expected to attend both trial dates for their age group.

Being selected for Chelsea Squad provides players with the opportunity to receive additional coaching, train in a representative environment, compete against other associations and participate in tournaments and representative competitions.

Chelsea Squad is about more than selection — it’s about development, commitment, teamwork and representing Chelsea & District Netball Association with pride.

13 & Under: Tuesday 6 & 13 October 2026
15 & Under: Monday 5 & 12 October 2026
17 & Under: Monday 5 & 12 October 2026

Come along and work with our squad coaches, experience what a squad training session is like, learn more about the trial and selection process, and get some helpful information about what to expect from representative netball.

The sessions are open to all players who are not currently playing in our squad program and are considering trialling in October.
