You don't have to sign up for a full term to enjoy our Monday and Wednesday evening Hatha Yoga classes at Japara. Just give us a shout on or before the day to see if we've got room, and voilà! You're in - no long-term relationships necessary.

Today is the international day of yoga - what might that mean?

To me it means reflecting on what yoga can give you.

A strong body.
Mental clarity.
Physical wellbeing.
Space to breathe.
A place to connect.
An understanding of yourself and your body.
Peace.
Energy.
Refreshed muscles.
Self confidence.
An opportunity to be brave.
An opportunity to try a new step.
Pride in showing up for yourself.

What does yoga do for you? What do you love about yoga?

I love that yoga is for everyone. I love that it doesn’t matter that everyone’s asanas look different because we all feel it inside our bodies. I love the big satisfying sigh I hear around the room after our final namaste.
