What a way to finish the season!

Our Belmont Year 10s are 2026 PREMIERS after a dominant 64-point Grand Final victory over Kalamunda, running out winners 16.8 (104) to 6.4 (40).

A huge congratulations to every player on an outstanding season and a brilliant performance when it mattered most. To produce a result like that on Grand Final day is a fantastic reward for the hard work and commitment of the entire group.

A massive thank you to Coach Justin Quinn, Assistant Coach Glen Francis and Team Manager Jess Allen for the time, effort and commitment they have given this team throughout the season. Thank you also to all of our match-day volunteers who have stepped up week after week to support the team — these seasons simply don’t happen without you.

A special congratulations to Lane Howie, who capped off a brilliant Grand Final by being awarded Player of the Final. A fantastic achievement on the biggest day of the season.

A huge weekend ahead for Belmont Junior Football Club, with two of our youth teams competing in Grand Finals this Sunday!

Congratulations to our Year 7 and Year 10 teams on earning their place on the biggest stage of the season. Reaching a Grand Final is a fantastic achievement and reflects the commitment, improvement and teamwork shown by the players throughout the year.

After a strong home-and-away season, our Year 7, Year 8, Year 10 and Year 11/12 teams will all be in action this Sunday, representing the Bombers in Week 1 of the finals.

A fantastic milestone for a Belmont Junior Football Club product this weekend, with Joel Cooper reaching 500 combined games for Belmont!

Joel played 142 games with Belmont JFC before continuing his football journey with the Belmont Bombers Senior Football Club, where he will play his 358th senior game this Saturday.

Congratulations Joel on an incredible 500-game milestone and your many years of loyalty and contribution to football in Belmont.

This Saturday we celebrate another incredible milestone for Coops, 500 combined games representing the Belmont Junior Football Club and Belmont Bombers Senior Football Club.

500 games. One club. An incredible commitment to Belmont Football.

What makes this milestone even more special is what it represents beyond the number itself. Joel’s journey is a great example of the connection between our Junior and Senior Football Clubs, and why that relationship is so important to the future of Belmont Football.

We currently have 30+ Belmont Senior players, along with coaching staff and volunteers, who are products of the Belmont Junior Football Club. That connection is something our entire football community should be incredibly proud of.

Over many years, our junior club has continued to develop talented footballers, but more importantly, it has helped develop good people — people who go on to become players, leaders, coaches, volunteers and valued members of our senior club and wider community.

The success our Senior Club has enjoyed over the years has been built on that strong foundation. The work done at junior level creates opportunities for young players to progress through the pathway, represent Belmont at senior level and eventually give back to the club that helped shape them.

Joel’s 500 games is a perfect example of that pathway.

It’s important that we take the time to celebrate achievements like this and recognise the years of commitment, loyalty and contribution that sit behind a milestone of this magnitude. From 142 junior games to 358 senior games, Joel has given an enormous amount to Belmont Football.

And as our Senior Club continues to grow, so too does the importance of maintaining that strong connection with our Junior Club.

500 games is an incredible individual achievement, but it’s also a celebration of the Belmont Football pathway and everyone who has contributed to it along the way.
