Weeroona Bay Swimmers

Bay swimming in Victoria For many years names were logged and water temperatures recorded. Come down and swim sometime and you will never look back.

For many years a group of swimmers headed off from the Bunker at the Lord Mayors camp end at Portsea Front Beach (Weeroona Bay) to swim the 1.2km across this iconic bay. The swim now sets off from Portsea Pier at 8am during holidays and is very popular during Dec/Jan. Swimmers enjoy a coffee after and many friendships have developed over the years.
